Apparently the police advised him that it was he who was breaking the law, not the female involved. He refused to identify himself but the police still managed to track him and send a warning letter.

Isn't there an ancient "proverb" - something about "mantlepiece" and "fire" which is somewhat appropriate in this case !

it goes....you don't look at the mantlepiece when you are poking the fire, which I am led to believe means you dont look at a womens face when you are up to your spuds ,banging away like a privvy door when the plague is in town
