Prince Andrew and Prince Edward
Now there are a couple of chaps I can't think of anything positive to say about....
Prince Andrew briefly served in the Royal Navy and flew a helicopter during the Falklands Crisis.
Prince Edward......eh hum???

Hi Robbie,
Not much to say about either of them other than Andrew should have stuck with Koo Stark as she had more class about her than the woman he married.
The only thing I can remember about Edward was him saying... “Well, what do you think”... this was after the Royal “it’s a knockout” fiasco.
Robbie, next you’ll be asking which of the Queens Corgis we prefer
Regards

There's nothing wrong with either of them - what have they done wrong?

Neither Prince Andrew nor Prince Edward have done anything wrong - per se. As far as I can see they have both been born into a difficult situation - unless several people die neither of them can reign.
However, they are part of an organisation, and they not only 'do their bit', but I feel that they are doing more recently.

So Lioness and Bozza, the most positive thing you have to say about them is they've done nothing wrong

Prince Edward and Prince Andrew are just fine, they are part of our Royal Family and have never done anything wrong....I bet if all their detractors actually bothered to look at all that they do they would get a very big surprise.....They their 'other halves' and their families do a fantastic job and this country would be all the poorer if they wasn't here.
Just my opinion of course, for what it's worth.

Re: Prince Andrew and Prince Edward
When are we moving on to Prince Philip .. he may have been at the Queen's side for the last 60 years but he's been a bit of a "rum un" in the past
Other than the Queen ( and Wills and Harry ) the only other person I've got any time for is Princess Anne, she has always conducted herself in a very discreet way and imo is one of the most hard working of the Royals, I also admire how she stuck to her guns and wouldn't let her children have "titles"

It was a long time ago, almost another life really, but I sat two places away from The Princess Royal at dinner once, we had a wonderful chat and she was so absolutely lovely.

I waited on Princess Margaret quite a few times when she had connections to Keele University.Boris+ wrote:It was a long time ago, almost another life really, but I sat two places away from The Princess Royal at dinner once, we had a wonderful chat and she was so absolutely lovely.

2 places away - that means one of you was very rude and had to lean across the person in between............Boris+ wrote:It was a long time ago, almost another life really, but I sat two places away from The Princess Royal at dinner once, we had a wonderful chat and she was so absolutely lovely.

On our last cruise we were told that Princess Anne had slept in our bed. I was soooo tempted to say’ I hope they’ve changed the mattress’ but sadly sometimes my sense of humour isn’t appreciated.

These days, to say someone has done nothing wrong is positive indeed! I really don't know why people are down on these two, Edward hasn't even been divorced yetHK phooey wrote:So Lioness and Bozza, the most positive thing you have to say about them is they've done nothing wrong
Princess Ann - I liked her since she told that photographer or whatever he was to naff orf.
Prince Philip - love hs non pc one liners. He might not mean to be funny but he cracks me up.

The thing I find depressing about Andrew is that he increasingly looks like a man in late middle age.
I find it depressing because he's exactly 4 weeks older than me.

I remember drawing a picture of Prince Andrew in infant school and being praised by the teacher - oh where does the time go?Gill W wrote:The thing I find depressing about Andrew is that he increasingly looks like a man in late middle age.

Hi emjay45
I think you missed an opportunity there...I would have turned the mattress upside down, taken a sample and flogged it to the Yanks

Hi Meg -
No, what happened was that the gentleman who I was escorting that particular evening had bumbled off to talk shop which left a space with no body on it.
