Do you mean what do we want for Christmas, or what do we want to get done by Christmas?

It's a long way to the end of the year, and I suppose that for us the festivities are going to be more NYE based really.

For Goodness sake. The weather is depressing enough without talking about Christmas, and I shut my finger in the car door, and it is all black and I have got lots of visitors in the next two weeks, shall I go on?

Ooh Jay I bet that hurts. Poor you. Actually I'm really looking forward to Christmas. Last Christmas all I could think about was our forthcoming World cruise. I was busy, busy packing and worried about the weather because we have to first get the boat to the UK and I was petrified we'd have gales and the boat would be cancelled. My mind was so occupied with so many worries I simply couldn't concentrate on enjoying Christmas. so this year Christmas is going to be very special. I'm going to enjoy the Summer first of course. :D

Ouch, I did that once and ended up with a nurse pushing a red-hot bit of wire into my fingernail. She actually chuckled when the doctor said 'trephine'. Look on YouTube for 'subungual haematoma'.

Ugh ! Bob, I checked the Sub-whatsit page! Does not sound very nice. My finger/nail looks like the pictures. The pain has lessened and the swelling is going down, but if it doesn't improve I will try yo be brave and visit the practice nurse.

It has occured to me how unintentionally apt the title of this thread is!!

Not sure I'm going to get to see much of it tonight either. I'm still stuck in the office waiting for my car to come back from its service.
