I'm sure I read somewhere that the average phone keypad had more germs than the average toilet, so Ken's phone has probably been improved by the experience.

The phone has been up in the air conditioning unit now since yesterday. I will fish it out before going home tonight.
Yes the phone was well rinsed ... and the screen protector discarded.

I have some silica crystals in the house which I can leave the phone in overnight ... I have to admit that it is bliss with my phone out of action ... haven't received a single interruption for over 24 hours.

I haven't turned it back on yet .. it is still sitting in a box of silica ... I am leaving it until tomorrow before trying .. although Julie is getting a bit cheesed off with me using up her minutes this month

By the way, have checked my contract. I get 100 mins, 500 texts and 100Mb of data but no indication how many flushes I'm allowed per month. Perhaps that comes under roaming?

I've not yet flushed my phone but bizarrely this week it decided it was in Taipai and started displaying weather and time accordingly. In the end I had to dislodge a grommet, or a fidget, or widget or whatever it's called and re-instate it to get it to come back home!

I was having a rotten day until I had an 'accident' with my new mobile phone - caused by very long nails, and it absolutely made me crease up with giggles.

Hot day, small opportunity to go out in the garden and hey presto received a photo by text of a friend showing off a new sunhat in her garden in her swimsuit! I was ready for a break outside, and wearing suitable attire I donned a daft hat and went outside to take a photo on said phone.

So far so good, so clever clogs thought it a good idea to view this photo - but long nail syndrome set it, and instead of a photo of me there it was (accidentally courtesy of Bing) a large fat hippo in a mud wallow!

Made me giggle, anyway.
