A great achievement but I was getting very annoyed watching the varicose stages seeing the "spectators" standing in the middle of the road. Apparently Mr Frome punched one yesterday.... Are these prats really cheering the riders on or do they just want their 30 seconds of fame in front of the TV cameras?

We've also beaten the Australians again in the Ashes series. This time by 347 runs - which is very nearly as many as the Aussies scored in both of their innings put together!!

First young Mr Murray, then the Lions, now the Ashes are trundling along nicely. Not a bad result in Muirfield too.

Yes but is he genuinely British or one of that new breed of plastic brits brought in because he is a great athlete. Born in Kenya educated in S Africa took up Britich citizenship only in 2010.
As for cricket, apart from some exceptional Yorkies the team is littered with ex colonials.
