Any significant milestones this year?
Dear Forumeers,
It is Mrs AOTH'S 50th birthday on Tuesday and we are having a family bash at the Admiralty tomorrow to celebrate. Despite my lofty rank of Admiral/Cadet I have been press ganged into helping with the party preperations tonight and am currently working my way through a long list that started with "clean the cooker hob" but which tantalisingly ends with "drinks".
I will be a toy boy until May 19th when I too hit the big 50....a fact which will no doubt suprise many looking at the youthfull chap in my avatar.
I know that Darknightie is hoping to finally achieve puberty this year but I wondered if anybody else out there in Forumland will be celebrating a special day of their own this year.
Regards
Rob aka AOTH

Yep, I will be having another birthday - heading with great rapidity to the next big birthday which will be next year.
I don't do birthdays any more though - 21 was quite old enough.

We're only as old as we feel Wina - sometimes 70, most of the time about 35. Long may that remain so for me, and for what little I know about you, you'll feel about 35 tooWina G wrote:Sounds good to me LuluLulucat wrote:I don't do birthdays any more though - 21 was quite old enough.

Re: Any significant milestones this year?
In 2009 it was our 60th birthdays & 40th wedding anniversary, so we thought we won't have a party that people probably don't want to go, to we shall suit ourselves, so we had 4 cruises in 12 months, a couple of visits to our favourite Warners on the IOW & a break with the dogs camping.

Next on my list of jobs is "clean the front door". As it's about minus 2 and pitch black I think I'll move on to "put up decorations".
As we cruise during the summer holidays we usually celebrate our wedding anniversary (August 9th) aboard. This year we will be aboard Aurora for our 27th. We were aboard Azura in 2011 for our silver wedding and had the very great good fortune to share it with newly met cruising chums...the sprightly Keefy Onelife and his lovely family. You'll not be suprised to hear that he bought us chocolates!
Regards
Rob aka AOTH
PS Wina / Jacksparrow.......I am 49 going on 21
