coz every time its in the news that some w*nker has been caught with x number of pictures, they all seem to be on a laptop, downloaded from the web

Pete Townsend got caught with pictures on his computer and he just typed 3 words into a search engine and was directed to a site, it was all in his interviews with the police
it might not be on google but there are many other ways

PORN is the most typed word on the internet and 60% of all internet usage is related to porn

Most, yes, but there were also the old Newsgroups (.alt.[justaboutanything] - got to through Outlook Express), and possibly more-obscure search engines. As has been said, where there's a will, there's a way, but any move to make it more difficult to get this filth has to be welcomed.

I have had to remove several posts due to foul language used on some, sadly others had to get caught up in the wash ... Naturally since you advocate censorship this will not be an issue.

Remember that when using foul language children may be reading and it is also in breach of the forum rules ...we would not want to condone double standards

This will stop anyone accessing normal porn not kiddy porn

Initially they may use searches but as they drill down they come across specialist closed groups on social media sites and privately run sites which host the majority of such images ... Many of which are beyond the law since they are hosted in countries with less stringent laws.

Sadly the obvious impact of this half-baked idea will be to drive many of these sites and their sick clientelle even deeper underground ... And as history has shown us time and time again that makes it even harder to track and monitor. However that is what some will be happy with ... Out of site out of mind.

Actually your language was over the mark and i would probably have issued a warning had i not been using this mobile
The profanity filter has minimal setup and did not censor some of your language ... Something for us to look at to avoid future occurrences ... Please respect the rules of this board and do not use foul language on this board.
