Baby
I'm delighted to tell you my daughter had a baby girl today at 1203pm, 7lb 13oz, Mum and daughter both well. I was disappointed to have missed the actual delivery as baby was in distress and daughter had to have a spinal injection in case a C section was necessary. In the end she delivered naturally, but as only one birth partner is allowed in the operating theatre, obviously that was her husband. Anyway, all's well and thank you for your good wishes.
Like the Duke and Duchess, the name is yet to be confirmed as we were convinced it would be a boy!!

Re: Baby
Congratulations Ann. Also to your daughter and son in law. Hope Baby ?????? will thrive and give them many many years of pleasure, happiness and also the tears and worries that all come with a baby and make it such a marvellous, magical time. Enjoy all the time you spend with your granddaughter.

Re: Baby
Thank you everyone. It was certainly a day to remember! Baby has been named as Rosie Ann. They will be moved to our local maternity unit later today for the rest of their care. Can't fault the NHS on this occasion - they are just brilliant when you really need them!
