Does anybody still eat Mars Bar or Snickers sandwiches ... I used to eat them a lot as a teen .. naturally made with Veda bread (never white bread).

My husband always used to like lime marmalade and smokey bacon crisps sandwiches. We, too, like fruit cake with cheese. I like a crisp green apple with a chunk of cheddar cheese, but my family think I'm mad spreading HP sauce on white buttered toast - lovely!

Oh, and very bad for your health, but dipping a crisp green apple in salt was a favourite of a work colleague.

Mars bar and raw sausage butty with blue stilton sounds nice. Never actually had one, though.

I do like liquorice and mango ice cream.

A traditional Manx dish is chips, cheese and gravy. Still popular with the youngsters - it's cheap!

Pasta with tomato ketchup, served with a burger or kiev type thing. I thought my old housemate was mad when she first served this up but its suprisingly nice!

Not unusual but I love a BLT! Mind you I love anything with bacon - would rather have bacon than steak.

At home we have Yorkshire pudding with blackberry or raspberry vinegar and it is delicious. Blackberry vinegar is made with blackberries soaked in vinegar, strained and then the juice boiled with sugar. Add cloves and leave to 'mature'. I suppose it's a bit of a sweet and sour but it is lovely, especially the raspberry version.

Sausages cooked, the put in a pan with a tin of tomatoes...then served up warm with salad cream squirted all over them !!!
