Yes ours arrived yesterday - I think it's better than the old magazine - more in it certainly.

Re: Our World Magazine
Ours arrived today, accompanied by a note from Carol Marlow briefly saying that she is leaving, and she hopes to meet us on future cruises, but this time she will be a passenger.
I am not sure the new format is as good as the old. It seems to be even more of a sales brochure, and less interesting editorial stuff. I did find the old one a reasonable read, but I seem to just flick through this one, but perhaps that is just the sign of a cynical old age.

Re: Our World Magazine
why?
do Butlins have cruise ships? unlike the narrow minded sycophants who haunt this forum, I am more than happy to try something else , without relying on that most tired of cliches"Butlins at sea" when they are just frightened of change

Re: Our World Magazine
Why is it always Butlins at Sea?
Why not Pontins at Sea?
Or is Pontins more upmarket than Butlins ?
But the way, I got my magazine on Friday. I eagerly opened it, and found there was barely anything I wanted to read. I'd like more cruise news and behind the scenes stories rather than destinations stuff

Gill
for some reason the cruise snobs have decided Butlins is downmarket and only for the common people, they are probably the same type of people who never had a holiday when they were young, coz they were too poor and first saw a banana in 1975 and only had any real money once their house value soared in the 1990's
basically all fur coat and no knickers

'All fur coat and no knickers'. Does anybody else find that strangely arousing?
