Bleeding gadgets . . . .
. . . . we have many
But I recently acquired a Soup maker, extremely simple to use, main ingredients "leftovers" that were usually fed to the birds
Asked our friendly greengrocer for over ripe tomatoes, all binned Graham was his retort
He is now setting aside for me all his just pass the stupid "best by sale date" for my Soup thingy
How about that, healthy eating I shall be posting 'till I am in receipt of her Maj centurion telegram

Is that one of those devices that is a liquidiser and a boiler all in one?
One of those things where you think 'how did I ever manage the last 50 years without this?'

Spot on . . . and it great gear
Must dash
Chicken and Mushroom soup, a handful of the famed Dorset Knobs with a smear of Patum Peperium is to die for, make no mistake about that
I would bet our resident "foodie" dear Mr Kane would give this delectable lite lunch a "nod and a wink"
Kindly

I've got a soup machine too GFW and its brilliant. You can bung in pretty much any veg lurking in the bottom of the fridge ! My favourite recipe so far is minestrone with crunchy bacon bits added at the end MMmmmmmm delicious

'Freezer soup' often turns out best (though you can never replicate!)
Simply turn all little bits of anything, meat, veg, rice, into a container in the freezer, when the container is full put the contents and a stock cube and water into a pan, ccok for a while and whizz or dont whizz, as you fancy

My soup maker is brilliant. Throw everything in add water/stock switch it on it beeps when ready. All done. No chopping veg although they should be cut into small pieces before throwing them in and no saucepan to watch over and no blending afterwards. Perfect soup in 30 minutes. Good for pasta sauces as well as smoothies and juices.
I got my from QVC - dont know if they still do them though.

No, no, no, no ... NO !
The only way to make soup is to shred all the veges with a food processor or maybe a Pampered Chef Chopper, and to then use lots and lots of spoons, knives, a spice blender, sauté saucepans and maybe even a slow cooker ... that way it lasts all day and there's a mountain of washing up to do and that's before it gets blitzed and put into suitably sized sealed pots for the freezer.
My bestest gadget of all time is my ' Bean to Cup ' coffee machine ... shlurpppp.

Re: Bleeding gadgets . . . .
One or two not so good, my fault did not follow the recipe
Today I made an excellent Pea and Ham mint soup, so simple but really delicious
This machine is great very simple to use and even easier to keep clean and store
This "bleeding gadget" is not going to the charity shop
