for some reason the cruise snobs have decided Butlins is downmarket and only for the common people, they are probably the same type of people who never had a holiday when they were young, coz they were too poor and first saw a banana in 1975 and only had any real money once their house value soared in the 1990's
basically all fur coat and no knickers

Having been to Butlitz several times, I would have to say that it is rather downmarket. It wasn't cheap, either.

Issue 5, again not a bad read. Methinks one or two may be to quick to knock it. BTW , do Butlins do cruises?.

ask all those moaners and bores who go on about "Butlins at sea" I suspect they just use that phrase to imply they have some sort of class?

One thing is certain, they have no imagination, I'd respect them more if they came up with something original .

Just discovered I am opted out of post communications (even though I am sure I didn't opt out) so I am not automatically being sent Our World this time even though I had the last one. Anyways, I have been on the blower and they have sorted me out so said informative tome is winging its way to my door as I write !

Apparently I, too, was opted out unawares, but it took 2-3 weeks for my copy to arrive (last week) and even then it was the previous issue!

I have every confidence that the nice lady at Carnival HQ in Southampton will look after me. Why, she even enquired after my health and the weather so I feel like we are almost married

Hold the front page ! Mine arrived on Saturday - a personalised copy in a hand-addressed envelope from my new best friend Crystal at P&O HQ, bless her. I shall be offering it on eBay just as soon as I have inwardly digested all the riveting facts contained therein !!

What issue is it? The hand-written envelope I received 10 days ago contained the Spring edition...

Dunno, I was so excited to receive it, I didn't look at the date. It is the one with the article about Neil Turnbull's favourite ports
