We'll only be there if you supply a decent en-suite room with Moulton Brown toiletries.
And decent biccies, of course!

I'm coming up to two years shy of my 60th - is that a millstone or a milestone birthday? Approaching our 35th anniversary.
Rob, having just found this thread, I hope your special day was everything you hoped for.
Very belated good wishes

Dear AOTH,Admiral of the Humber wrote:Dear Jack,
You could all come to Hull on the weekend of 18/19th May. Unlike Mrs AOTH with her select little gathering I will be having a BIG party to celebrate my 50th!
Regards
Rob aka AOTH
I was going to request the opportunity to hijack your get together with some of the others on here (have met a few in person the rest only via the keyboard!) but, having seen the date of your planned meet up, I'm going to have to re-think things as I'm due on a cruise that weekend!!

May I also take the opportunity to wish Lady AOTH a wonderful day and plenty of celebrations along the way!!
On my own front, there are no celebrations planned for me personally but, in September my parents will reach the milestone of 50 years of married bliss!!

Happy Milestones to all !. I've got my 50th in April followed a few days later by my husbands 50th. Hoping for a happier time than our 40th's when we had a big joint party planned and Adonias inaugural. Gulf 2 came along and all was cancelled, he missed both birthdays and cruise was cancelled just five days before. Of course the problems in the world were far more important but it was disappointing. Still on the bright side - 10 years later I'll be sharing my day with a few of the wonderful friends I've met through cruises since then and who've helped me through some tough times !.

Here's hoping that you both get to celebrate in your chosen way and can create happier memories than 10 years ago!!

Hubby's 65th in October. Booked a part World cruise to celebrate this but that is not till 4 months after the event. Looking for a cruise to cover his birthday but October is a bad time of the year. Too late for the med and too early for the Caribbean. All Canaried out so need some inspiration. Keep looking but can't do a long one because of my work.

Dear AM and Wob,
I have to agree that 1963 was a pretty good year!
Everything is done now. Just need to pick up the cake and balloons and make myself look handsome!
Ho Ho Ho
