Forum get together
How about a forum get together. Say, a weekend in a nice hotel somewhere mid England to be fair to all travellers. I nominate the moderators for organising and paying for the whole shebang.

Whilst I did think about posting a reply to the posting of 'MM' I have decided not to for fear of getting banned.
Needless to say, it takes all sorts of people to make a world, and not all should be tarred with the same brush!!
Not amused.

Derek, I can assure you our bites no longer carry the plague ... we are on a the cusp of a breakthrough of inventing an auntie-biotech .. but we are still desperately trying to resolve the issues with the wheel, some young knowitall suggested rounding the corners.

Re: Forum get together
What a wonderful suggestion Stephen, we would most definitely be up for it. Please, if it goes ahead can we have plenty of notice; given the current economic situation we now only employ James, our chauffeur, midweek, he will work weekends but requires a lot of notice. Derek, what a massive disappointment it will be if you don't attend. I have conjured up an image of you as a cross between Rupert Bear and Ronnie Corbett, anyway we will need you vocal skills for the evening entertainment.

If it went anything like the Adonia bash, well, what a hoot it would be. And Billy boy would be first on the invite list (entertainment) as would Onelife.

Did you have to mention the Adonia bash?? I think poor old Onelife is still having therapy for his belt-related trauma!Stephen wrote:Ray

Good luck with that one. We were there last year, never again. Warners use to be good but have gone down hill over the years. That's just my point of view though.

Haven't been for a few years - guess they are cutting corners with the prices they are quoting. Shame - used to like the one at Lakeside.

Not exactly central but York could be a good choice, there is an excellent train service with Trans Pennine, East Coast and Cross Country and not that expensive, I recently got 1st class return for £23, lots to do there and some lovely restaurants.

Would cost for 2 people down south over £234 each to get to York
