Re: Annoying people
Julie is my soul mate;
we have great neighbours (in fact several of our neighbours are the same as we had at our last house);
my new boss is great;
MIL and I get on really well;
David Starkey I know nothing about;
Katie Hopkins - a waste of space with a big mouth - not annoying, just irrelevant, thick as two short planks
Morissey - irrelevant, he is probably stupid enough to believe his own bile
Russell Brand - dirty looking, limited talent
Ed Milliband - little political talent - the wrong person in the wrong job at the wrong time - they need a LEADER not a puppy dog
The Monocled Mutineer / Derek Kane - couldn't possibly comment
So I don't find any of them 'annoying' per se, but some are just totally irrelevant and not worth me wasting any of my valuable time on.

I think most of all it has to be the dreaded MIL.

Re: Annoying people
My husband is my best friend.
We rarely see our neighbours.
I don't have a boss (self employed).
My MIL is lovely.
I had to Google the next three so can't comment (shows how much television I watch!)
I voted for the next two.
I met The MM on a ship visit once. He didn't seem annoying at all.
Shame there isn't a category for Jonathan Ross - I would have given him two votes!

Re: Annoying people
Jonathan Ross - yes, he should be listed.
Who else is missing? I'd add Nick Clegg, Pete Doherty, Richard Dawkins, that female who does the mid-week interview for Strictly, all tin-pot dictators.
Unless he put himself on as a joke, I don't think it right that TMM should be on that list, regardless of what people think of him.

Re: Annoying people
Biased towards the Tory party, where are David Cambell or Nick Clegg on this?
Obviously pampering to the Tory majority on here.

Re: Annoying people
Messrs/Madames Starkey, Holmes and Morrissey, I warrant, are highly unlikely to be major fans of Messrs Cameron and Clegg.
The list is bounded by the system constraint of 10 options and I included those who have a reputation to annoy. In fact, I find the "celebs" named rather amusing and sometimes thought provoking in a positive way.

I'll vote for David Cambell as being a really annoying person ... who is he?ChesterfieldJohn wrote:Biased towards the Tory party, where are David Cambell or Nick Clegg on this?
To be fair to MM, the poll is limited to 10 choices and he did pick the 10 most likely people to be considered annoying.

It was probably a last minute choice between himself and the ModeratorsSilver_Shiney wrote:... Unless he put himself on as a joke, I don't think it right that TMM should be on that list, regardless of what people think of him.
In reality very few people annoy me but Jonathan Ross is certainly somebody who gets switched off in our house
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

I am not voting for David Cameron as it may upset my hairdresser.
His name is David Cameron and I am booked for a restyle tomorrow .

Re: Annoying people
Most of the people on that list don't annoy me at all. I too would have voted for Jonathan Ross. I would also put on the list telephone marketing callers and those who drive at 40 miles an hour on a 60mph road.

Re: Annoying people
with the first 4 are the only ones who, impact in any way on my life
the rest are irrelevant non entities who think they are so much more than they actually are
anyone with a talent to annoy ,should be pitied ,not applauded

I have most of them on 'ignore'. What really annoy me are people who get paid shedloads of money for being useless at their jobs.

Re: Annoying people
I think that at some point everyone on that list, and many others, can annoy someone else but at other times they do not annoy. Whether it is an issue is another matter

Re: Annoying people
None of them really annoy me, in fact I actively like Russell Brand, particularly as he went to the same school as me (although I was there 15 years earlier)
In the end I opted for my neighbour.
He collects classic cars, and works on them in his garage and driveway. That I can cope with, but he always seems to rev the cars really loudly, on hot afternoons, when I'm on the computer in the room we use as a study which is the room nearest his driveway. As I have the window open,it's noisy and I get the smell of exhaust, which is pretty annoying.
Ah well, at least he's not smoking out there !

Re: Annoying people
Oh dear, I've just done a quick count and 16 people have replied on this thread, I'll take myself out of the equation as I didn't vote ( very little annoys me, life is far too short
) so assuming it is just those who have posted that have voted a third have voted for TMM as being annoying, perhaps Jonathan Ross would have been a better choice

My wife when I am trying to watch something on the telly, especially the news. Of course it's different when THEY want to watch something. More than your lifes worth to speak then.
