RIP Princess Diana

Unread post by arcadialover »

It is 16 years today that the Lovely Princess Diana was killed. How sad for her boys and family that the cause of her death is being dragged up again. Whilst I don't think it was an accident, I doubt the real truth will come out in my life time.

RIP Diana.

Endless speculation like the OPs ("I don't think it was an accident") is in the same order as NASA pretending to put men on the moon, or the pseudo science of 'Intelligent Design''.

A load of drivel.

Arcadialover, Diana's death was no more an accident than Dr David Kelly's was a suicide.

Did she accidentally forget to put on her seat belt?

At least we all have remembered. Nothing has been mentioned in the news at all so far today.

I heard that David Icke's Reptilians from the planet Draco took care Of D.Spencer and Dr.Kelly under orders from the Duke of Edinburgh.

I don't think so - it wasn't the DoE!

Knowing the area quite well - I just don't buy it.

We are all entitled to hold an opinion, and to voice it. We should all respect the opinions held by other people - whether we agree or not.

Meanwhile, let's look to the future; there's so much to strive for and look forward to - hopeful and positive.

By which you really mean "creation". Are you going to justify your assumptions this time?

I've no need to justify to those who believe in Fairy Tales

I think there is very little chance of that unfortunate young lady being allowed to rest in peace while the conspiracy theorists still bring up new ideas.

As Arcadialover says, it is highly unlikely the truth will be revealed in our lifetimes.

I do wish they would let it drop for the sake of her children, I can't imagine the distress this must be causing them.

You have a duty to justify why you call it "fairy tales". If you said "I think it is a load of rubbish", you might earn a little more respect than just stating your beliefs as hard and fast "fact". Have you ever looked at the issues with an open mind? I very much doubt it.

I think we all have our own opinions of what happened on that fateful night , I personally don't believe it was an accident and I base that on the fact that there are STILL so many unanswered questions.

If it has been proved conclusively by the "powers that be" that it was purely and simply an unfortunate accident then why 16 years on are questions still being asked, we can't even blame Al Fayad because there doesn't appear to be any connection to him by those still questioning it.

I do think it should be put to bed though, if only for Princes William and Harry, if there are answers, we will never hear of them in our lifetime so it all seems rather pointless.

Not many unanswered questions. Just many people who will not accept answers that do not fit their pre-conceived ideas of what actually happened.

This was indeed not an accident , if you believe, that a car, driven at speed, by a drunken driver, being pursued by the so called paparazzi, hit a concrete obstruction, killing the passengers who were not wearing seat belts, was not an accident...... then I suppose it was not an accident. Were all of those series of events arranged by someone, or some organisation? I believe that would have been very clever indeed.

NSAM:

About as good an answer as can be made. The endless, mindless speculation about 'dark forces' about this unfortunate adulteress, her boyfriend and the drunk chauffeur, reminds me of the obvious nonsense that it was the US Government that organised the awful events of 9/11, by the gullible, idiot section of our society.

Time to also investigate the death of the Queen mother .. let's face it she lived for over 100 years without dying and then suddenly she dropped dead .. obviously a conspiracy.

And a film is due out shortly, I for one won't be watching it.

Too many inaccuries/inconsistencies over her death and the hours following the crash. For example, the time it took to get her to hospital and the fact her body was embalmed. I have never seen any other photo where Diana wasn't wearing a seat belt, had it been tampered with earlier?, the missing white uno and the bike with 2 pillion passengers, I could go on and on.

I guess if Al Fayed couldn't find the truth with all his money to put on the case then no one can

The problem is that it is very difficult/nigh on impossible to prove a negative. If people want to believe in a conspiracy, it is very difficult to prove absolutely that one did not take place. 'Beyond reasonable doubt' is just not good enough for some people.

As for why somebody may have done something unusual; - to use a parliamentary term, "cock up rather than conspiracy" is usually what happened, but it's not a concept the conspiracy theorists can (or want to) understand.

It's not just Diana; JFK's assassination, the moon landings, the twin towers etc,. etc. are all subject to weird & wonderful conspiracy theories.

If Dodi and Diana had stayed the night, at the Ritz, as planned instead of leaving, then they would be alive today.

It appears to have been Dodi's decision to get away in such a hurry............ But I don't think anyone has suggested Dodi engineered the crash have they? Of course not. .......so......to my mind it was indeed an accident.

I see our wonderful media have started on the Middleton family and Katherine now,

They are so so sick!! Never let the chance of a story however untrue, and the chance to make a quick buck or up circulation with a photo of a pretty face, go amiss.

Diana will not be allowed to rest while they can sell a few copies, and print her photo, and poor Katherine is going to have the same problems from now on. Luckily I think that Prince William has got the measure of them, and will protect her.
