On-line questionnaire
Just received a request from the new Insight Director, Jeremy Tait to complete an on-line questionnaire following our recent cruise on Ventura.
The email goes on to say 'At P&O Cruises we are constantly striving to improve the experience that we provide to our customers. As part of this we are testing an alternative to the paper Customer Service Questionnaire that most of our customers complete at the end of each cruise'.
As always, we complete the paper CSQ whilst on board and we know these are read by the Purser and other senior officers with some interest. I understand that all this data is then collated and referred back shore side for further evaluation, scores are then produced on service etc.
My guess is that some of the really negative passenger remarks would be removed prior to onward evaluation so perhaps this 'tester' is to bypass the ship's initial evaluation and for shore side to score accordingly and, feedback to the ship warts and all.
I have to add that personally, we always give upbeat comments and normally excellent feedback and are happy with the paper CSQ, never the less we will complete the online one and see if there is any feedback to us.

Re: On-line questionnaire
Let us hope they are going to do an online questionnaire about what we think of their website too
I have been trying to access my cruise personaliser since last night and it refuses to acknowledge my e-mail address/password, I'm unable to access via my Portunas number as I don't have a cruise booked and to do this I have to supply a booking reference number.
Having read some of the comments over the last few months of people being unable to access their accounts I must admit I have wondered ..is it really that bad .. well YES it is !!!
All credit to P&O, I emailed them and I received a reply within 2 hours, unfortunately telling me to click on "forgotten password" has not worked

Does that mean that any passenger that does not have Internet access will be excluded from the surveys in future?Queenshi wrote:As part of this we are testing an alternative to the paper Customer Service Questionnaire that most of our customers complete at the end of each cruise'.

Exactly the same for me. I telephoned and they said they would reset my account. I know I have the right login details because anything else throws up a red comment.Dancing Queen wrote:Let us hope they are going to do an online questionnaire about what we think of their website too![]()

I'm not really that bothered QB as I only want to check something but I would very annoyed if I had a cruise booked with them and couldn't access the information I wanted, I even tried logging in to my husbands account and the system doesn't recognise that either

I'm logging in fine but as there's only me and the Captain on my cruise I presume I am getting preferential treatment - or am being logged in as 'Crew'!!!
I was taught to be cautious

Re: On-line questionnaire
On our recent 3 night cruise on Aurora we didn't have a passenger questionnaire to complete - I just thought that maybe they don't do it for short cruises. Then when I got home and checked my emails there was a request from P&O to complete an online questionnaire. It was more or less the same questions you get from the paper one.

Bob, I just thought I would let you know how I have resolved the problem, on the address bar there is a symbol that looks like a torn sheet of paper, click on that and then try logging in, I have just done so without any problem.Quizzical Bob wrote:Exactly the same for me. All credit to P&O again, even though I thanked them yesterday for their help and said it didn't really matter at this moment in time they have mailed me three times today to try and resolve it, it was only after I gave them my log in details and they managed to access from HQ they mentioned it could be a server problem and I remembered reading about the little symbol somewhere ages ago

Interesting, which browser do you use? I have tried clearing caches and cookies.Dancing Queen wrote:Bob, I just thought I would let you know how I have resolved the problem, on the address bar there is a symbol that looks like a torn sheet of paper, click on that and then try logging in, I have just done so without any problem.Quizzical Bob wrote:Exactly the same for me. Re: On-line questionnaire
I would prefer an online questionnaire when we get home - provided one did arrive! The paper ones arrive too late in the cruise for a decent amount of time to be spent on it - along with packing, shopping for last minute souvenirs, enjoying the last day. Mine is usually accompanied by an A4 sheet of paper elaborating on my evaluations. What use is a general question about entertainment, for instance, when one act stands head and shoulders above the rest and one is dire? The powers that be need to know this, not just a general grading across the board.
