I've just Googled and Ola will be appearing
Thanks Jean, she has a great line in one liners. Remember "No more 'Olachops'! Its Mrs Jordan from now on!"?

James and Ola were the strictly dancers on Azura SCD cruise in May. During James interview he was asked about how the celebs were teamed up with the pros. He insisted that they didn't know until the night who they had got but was happy that Anton always 'took one for the team'

Sorry James but it is your turn this year to 'take one for the Team'

I would just love to have been a fly on the wall of the Jordan household last night. Ola and James are very competitive and she got the delicious Hunk Ashley and poor James got the obnoxious loud Vanessa. The public will probably keep her in for a few weeks for the cringe factor so James will really have to earn his money this year.

Anton did better than usual with Fiona Fullerton but my monies on the Corrie actress to win.

Can't wait for the first dance.

Yes poor James but someone had to get Vanessa  I imagine she will be "difficult" to work with, although she might surprise us all !!

Can't wait now for the show to start, will be interesting to see who the serious contenders are, I rather like Rachel ( from Countdown ) she always comes across as very sweet and a really nice person.

A "interesting" line up. I don't really care for James, so don't feel too sorry for him. I think Sophie Ellis Bexter could be one to watch, she's very supple - in the group dance her backbent in ways mine never would

The question though is when is "the night" - because it certainly wasn't last night as most of the programme was recorded.

Also I read a report that Natalie, who has broken some bones in her foot, had already started training with her partner and Vanessa was giving out hints that she knew who her partner was on her radio show last week.

Should be interesting the partnership of James and Vanessa. James is a hard taskmaster and seeks perfection and I don't think Vanessa will take criticism lightly. We shall wait and see....

Glad Anton has someone good this year. He deserves it. I almost thought he would end up with Vanessa last night the way things were going.

I think the Coronation Street girl already looks as if she will be one of the best.

We agree Anne. When they did the group dance the girl from Corrie ( not that we watch Corrie or East Enders; enough trouble in life without watching more on TV) looked really good, almost a natural. We think after last night that it is time Bruno made way for someone, because he is becoming very predictable.

We cant stand Vanessa Felz any.

We very rarely watch SCD in this house, although did watch the last few episodes of the last series, just think Bruce is past his sell by date. At the moment we are watching the selection process of X factor, prefer this to the actually contest.

When we were in Criccieth in North Wales last week, there were a couple staying at the hotel who we became friendly with, they were from the Newcastle area.
The lady although she was 85, no way did she look it, still had a great figure tall and slim, was always immaculately turned out, hair and clothes, and had great deportment. It was no surprise when we found out she was an ex ballroom championship dancer, and even less of a surprise when she took to the dance floor.
Her daughter now runs a ballroom teaching school, in which this lady still helps out with the teaching.

I know I grumble a lot about Brucie but surely, after last night's awful performance, no one can seriously think he will continue through the series. My vote goes to Anton as a replacement. In the paper this morning it says it took five hours to record the programme mainly due to Brucie getting it wrong.

Wonder which dancers we'll have on board Azura for SCD in October
