Just had notification that we have cabin G60 so G for us is the deck and not guarantee or getaway. Pleased with that because it is low and midships so hopefully won't feel so queasy as last cruise in rough weather. Now I will start getting organised.

Not wishing to burst the bubble but C60 ' seems ' to have interconnecting doors with C62 so best you keep the activity levels low key on this cruise.

Hi MOB - Yes G60 and G62 have connecting doors, never had that before - do we have a key our side and a key their side in G62. How do we make sure everything is totally secure?

I believe that there are two types of connecting door:

1. Where the cabin steward gives you a key.

2. Where there are two doors - one in each cabin each with their own lock.

Thanks,David. We have 6 doors in this bungalow to lock and I drive my husband nuts every night asking him 'have you locked the porch door, have you locked the french doors' etc etc so you can imagine what I am going to be like worrying about an interconnecting door.

We have only experienced this once, it was on Aurora in 2012.

In our case there was a locked door with a heavy curtain drawn across it.

Have no idea what they had in the adjoining cabin and to be honest our initial concern related to the lack of effective sound proofing rather than security. However, if we were to stand in front of our door it was possible to hear the folk next door if they were in the same area but not so in any other part of the cabin.

We didn't have a key and assumed that the steward would only issue it/them when parents were sharing the two cabins with their children for example.

I wouldn't worry about security but there again we always use the safe.

Our previous cruise (and upcoming cruise) details and points have disappeared from our account details.

I'm guessing this is just a blip with the website but has anyone else got this problem?
