If you do continue with the site David, could you please make more people use Last one to post as the current contributors are driving me mental.

I am the same as most people. I look in every day in the evenings and read most posts but rarely post unless I have a question or add something that may be relevant. I do look on other forums but never post on them.
I also read LOTP everyday and I think they are more than fair to Hk...

Keep up the good work.

Please keep the forum. I, like many, look in every day but do not always have something to say. I have had lots of very useful information regarding ports and places to visit. Hopefully will have more time to contribute now the dark nights are here.

David

I am another who votes for keeping it going, if you want to open it up for other cruise lines, I don't see a problem.

Keep it in its present format, as in my opinion the layout and format of this forum, far exceeds any other cruise forum, even a new one recently introduced by a travel agent.

I am not a prolific poster these days, but I do log in everyday and if I can contribute will do so.

I think you have done an excellent job setting up this forum, and I am sure the members of the now defunct P&O forum, cannot thank you enough.

However I realise it must take up a lot of your time in keeping it going, so at the end of the day it's your choice, do whatever suits you.

Whatever you do, Thanks again for setting it up in the first place.

Smurfie - I would love for it to continue but we all understand the time and commitment you put in. If it was only meant to be short term then we all understand.

PS - please advise (if you shut down) the exact time so I can winn the 'Last POst' ;)

Please, please keep it going if you are able to. After I check my emails each morning it is the first site I come to. Today, this is the second time I have had a look - glad I did. I like that it focuses mainly on P&O but would have no objection to other cruiselines being included. It is a site where I know the vast majority of posters are genuinely trying to give any information and advice they can. It is very easy to navigate, brilliantly easy to read and covers so many aspect of the cruising experience.

I too have looked at the TA's new site but it is very unwieldy - not easy to navigate - not as good by any means as this one. I hope you feel, David, that you have the time to keep it going. It is a superb site.

Please keep it going David it is a super site and the format is great just as it is, very easy to navigate unlike some

All forums go through quiet periods but the figures look pretty good so there is no reason we won't go from strength to strength it is still 'early days'

So come on folks lets ALL give David our support and make more effort to post more when time allows.

I couldn't agree more DQ. The navigation on this site is so easy and it puts such much vaunted sites as facebook into perspective where ease of use is concerned. P&O should hire David to produce one for them, but I guess they would want to knife and fork it and that would be the kiss of death, like their last attempt.

If you have the time and inclination, please do keep the forum going. I've found it of enormous help with my forthcoming trip - all the regular posters on here are a mine of information that I would struggle to find elsewhere.

Go on, you know you want to

Keep it going for as i find it a useful source of information. funny thing is I never realised it was just about P&O.

I think forum use is dropping generally as people are moving into facecloth and that twittering thing. Both of which IMO lack the discipline that forums can give.

I don't think it is/was just about P&O Dave but the fact that most of us were members of the old P&O forum that was always the common denominator.

I no longer cruise with P&O but that doesn't mean I won't in the future so I don't feel as if I can't join in, there appears to be a lot of dissatisfaction with P&O at the moment and many are trying other cruiselines I think it would be good if other ship experiences were shared.

David, we all thank you for what you have done, filling the void left by PandO and I agree , please keep the site going.
If you do make changes i.e. bringing in other cruise lines, I would hope the forum remains slanted towards PandO. The other sites open to all cruise lines look a bit impersonal.
There is a header which cover none P&O ' Any other ships', that could be expanded to take other cruise lines but I like the site as it is.
For me it's PandO

Please keep it going if you can David. I enjoy reading the cruise reviews and what the regulars are up to. I'm not a regular contributor but am a regular "reader".

The final decision has to be yours, but, I for one, would be very upset to see the Forum close.

The extremely hard work you have put in (and still continue to do so) is really appreciated by us all. A truly friendy Forum.

Thank you so much

I am with everyone else on this subject. Please keep it open if possible. I look in a couple of times a day, although not always posting and I have had some very useful information as a fairly novice cruiser. Its a much better site than some of the other sites I use.

Well, as you can see I am a "lurker" rather than a poster but do find the site very informative and would be very disappointed if it were to close down as I too have found very useful hints and tips on here. Of course, if you were to find you were unable to carry on then I would understand - thank you very much for all the time and effort you put into this forum

I would miss you very much if you turned us off. So please don't.

I certainly agree that it is no longer an exclusively PandO forum, and maybe I would like to see other Lines discussed to a greater degree but I have no idea how this could be implemented.

I love the games, but I have never quite grasped the LOTP, sorry! Perhaps someone could enlighten me.

i for one would miss it its the only forum i post on
think that a few more members would help to add more content and opening it up to other cruise lines would be an advantage
not sure if there is a section on this but i liked to read daily reports from cruisers i no that P&O offered it free but more and more ports offer free wifi
David if tkere is a way to help i for one would be glad to help out

I too am a lurker rather than poster. The way this forum has been set up is second to none. Excellent far far better than the old P&O Forum.

Not too many disagreements which was the downfall of the old one. The moderation here is just right. Do hope you keep going as there is a wealth of information available.

Well done and thank you to all concerned.

Please keep this site going David. Always one of the first sites I open when I fire up the pooter at home. And the occasional read on the train when commuting.

I have received helpful advice when I've asked questions, and I would like to think that I have provided useful answers to questions from other members.

Thanks

I also would like to see this site continue David.
I look in every night & have gained so much information from others for future cruises.
So much better than the old P&O one.

Please stay!

I'd like this site to stay too. I used to try to read the forum on the P&O website which I found extremely clumsy but this site is a much better proposition altogether. I would also like to add my thanks to everyone who contributes to the site.

I don't post too often because unless I have something new to say I don't usually post at all. However I am grateful to those who do post and provide so much helpful information.

It was a stroke of luck that I stumbled upon the link to this site and I wonder if there are lots of other cruisers who are not as fortunate as I was.

I would be extremely sorry if it was to close but I would understand if it did.

If it isn't taking up too much of your time, and the time of the others involved, then I would be all in favour of it continuing. I think inevitably post frequency varies and I know that I tend to post more sometimes than others.

I do think expanding the number of cruise lines more formally included, would be useful and would appeal to me personally, as we no longer choose to cruise with P&O - or at least we haven't done so for quite a while and I can't see that changing for the time being. But at the end of the day it's your site and I imagine it takes a lot of effort to run.
