Tapatalk application
Any chance that the forum could be compatible with the Tapatalk app for Iphoney things? I find that it works quite well on other forums.

Re: Tapatalk application
Taptalk is now installed - not something that I am familiar with so perhaps you could report back as to whether it is working or not

Re: Tapatalk application
I am using my iPad and taking this and iPhone with me on Friday on Ventura - what is this Taptalk app?

Re: Tapatalk application
Blimey! That was quick.
I can't find the forum when I do a search. Perhaps it takes a little time?

Re: Tapatalk application
Thanks David, it's all up and working now. I typed 'cruise community' into the Tapatalk search and found this forum down the bottom of the page of results under your full name. Now I'll have a play...

Are the settings OK?
It is not something that I have seen before - what is the advantage to just going in via a browser?

Anyone know how to actually post a new topic from the app please? Can't find the option anywhere

Re: Tapatalk application
Aha! Just found it - you go on the specific section you would like the new post to be in, then click the pencil icon at top right of screen to create a new topic.

Re: Tapatalk application
The user interface is a lot more flexible and you can choose to see a list of the latest posts. Icons can be a bit tricky, you need to remember the character sequence for them. If you want to quote somebody then touch their post and some options will appear. There is also a curved arrow at the lower right for normal replies. If you are looking at the 'forum' mode of display then try swiping left and right to go back to the overviews.

Re: Tapatalk application
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Tapatalk QB - it is not something I had come across before and I now have it on my playbook. Only problem with it I find is that it does not give me all the access that I need to administer the site - but that is easily done via a browser.

Re: Tapatalk application
That's ok. Thanks for all your hard work. I find it easier to use than a browser, especially on an iPhone. The 'latest' view is also ver handy. The only complaint I have is that you have to type the emoticons in plain text, but I'll learn.david63 wrote:Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Tapatalk QB - it is not something I had come across before and I now have it on my playbook.
