perhaps they are driven my the need to stay famous or by the money

That may have been the case then - but there was no problem last month when I saw him live.

Many stars seem to be rolled out for too long, some include Frank Sinatra, Vera Lynn and more recently Bruce Forsythe and Paul McCartney.
Is it not better to remember these people when they were at the peak of their game ... if they applied for the job without the history they have they would be laughed off the stage ... I just find it sad that some big names that are highly respected push it once to far which taints the memory of what they once were.
