Billy Spooner
I am so sorry to tell you all that I have just heard that my dear cyber friend Billy has died. Many of you will remember him from the old forum, he posted as Billy666, then changed it to Billy6 for my sake. I don't yet know what has happened.Billy was a wonderful character, full of fun and kindness and he will be sorely missed.

Such a shock and so unfair, he was so close to retiring to Malta too. Such a lovely fella.
Rest in Peace Bill, we'll miss you.

I am so sorry to hear that. I met Billy at the Adonia naming ceremony and I don't think I stopped laughing at his antics ... a character much larger than life.

That's a great shame. I've missed him since we moved over here and I wondered if something was up. He always seemed so full of fun - what a pity he didn't get to enjoy hs long planned retirement. Thanks for letting us know anyway

The life and soul has now been ripped out of any party. Billy was a dear, dear man who will be greatly missed.
He was so looking forward to his imminent cruise, as well as his long-awaited retirement to Malta. Life can be so cruel.
RIP

So sad.
Billy was one of those people that once met/seen you would never forget for all the right reasons.

Re: Billy Spooner
Oh dear, we also met him at the Adonia Naming Do.
He seemed to have energy to spare and an ability to live life to the full ... but sadly no more.
RIP Billy

Re: Billy Spooner
Billy's passing is very cruel as he had so much to look forward to with his impending retirement and BIG birthday. I never met him in person but got to know him through the P&O Forum and more recently through our shared Facebook Group. My daughter has hundreds of "friends" on Facebook, I have very few, but they are proper friends and I am honestly proud to say that Billy Spooner was a very dear one. I will miss him.
God Bless you Billy.
