BBC Breakfast News Saturday 2nd November


I wonder if anyone can help me out.

I turned on to watch BBC breakfast news Saturday morning and a black guy with dreadlocks was being interviewed and at one point was strumming his electrical guitar, a wonderful sound.

I believe he is also playing as part of new song album with an up and coming singer who also sounded good. I didn't catch either artists name or what the new album is called. Does anyone that also saw this happen to know the name of the singer, or better still the name of the album please.

I tried iPlayer to see if I could find the information there, but it is not available.

The artist was Nile Rodgers and he wrote that song Get Lucky for the group Daft Punk - only reason I know is because my 10 years old grandson loves it - I've got a little video of him singing and dancing to it. If you google Nile Rodgers on BBC breakfast you'll probably find what you are looking for.

If it was Nile Rodgers then he'll be well chuffed to be described as "up-and-coming"...he was a member of the group Chic - which had hits in the late 70's!!

The up and coming I was referring to was the album singer not the guitarist.

I've probably still got wrong but hey ho.
