Hi Sue. Pleased your party last week went off well. Ours at my youngest son's small 1780 cottage at Fryup was fantastic. It was a Halloween/housewarming party. They had no idea just how many would turn up, especially as John was verbally inviting everybody he spoke to around the area and they sent official invitations to the locals and some of the farmers etc from around. Nobody actually replied to the invitations. We had a massive electric storm just before the visitors were due, had a mass of food and oozes of booze wondering if we had actually got a lot too much. Practically all of Fryup, Fryupdale and some from Great Fryup turned up and there were about 35 or so of them came. As two left (to bed the horses for the night), another four would come in. We had such a laugh all night and the last ones left at about 2.30am. One came back on Sunday morning and brought some pine cones and a gift for them as well. All seemed to be interested in the cottage as none had been in it before and had always been intrigued. It was a fabulous, funny, friendly, crowded night!!!!

Was the party cancelled - stood outside for ages but no sign of any party :o
Are you sure you didn't come to our place by mistake? The doorbell did go once at just after 9 p.m. but I didn't get to the door in time !!

Whilst I am at it, I'm rather disturbed that, as our revered leader and Head Smurf, you have donned Christmas apparel already. For God's sake, it's the first of bl**dy November. Where do you think you are....Tesco or the local garden centre or something ? Christmas in November is INAPPROPRIATE !
