I think it has to be viewed as an entertainment show rather than a dancing competition.

Dave and Mark are entertaining, and people tend to vote for the contestant they enjoy, rather than who is the best technical dancer.

It's annoying for dance fans, but it's just the way it is.

What a fantastic show this evening, I bet that muppet who said Abbey danced like a cardboard cut-out “last week” is eating his words  ...I thought she was fantastic tonight

“You are the best Male celebrity dancer in this competition”

Craig Revel Horwood.

Now wait a minute, didn’t Onelife say exactly the same thing a few weeks back...

Vote Patrick he was phenomenal and at 50 years of age made the other male celebrities look like cardboard cut-outs.

Mark for the chop?

We were out last night so just catching up with strictly. Some fantastic dresses and dancing.

Mark and Dave as usual were the worst dancers. It has got to be time for one of them to go.

Dave did not dance the tango he stomped around the floor. He is just not improving. Very funny and entertaining though.

Yes it was very entertaining last night, as much as I like the entertainment value of Mark and Dave once they are voted off it will become a proper competition and any one of them could win it.

Agree Jay, I didn't miss Brucie either but I don't think Tess is a strong enough presenter to take the lead.

I thought Craigs marking was a bit out last night. How did he give Mark stomper Benton a higher mark than Ben Cohen? I thought Sophie Ellis Bextor was excellent but they have marked her down as well. I think Sophie is so frail looking that she doesn't come over so well in performance, but hey what do I know?

Some superb dancing/cruising friends of ours who take part in dance competitions say that Artem and Brendan are the two best chorographers and it looks as though they are right. Brendan's routine was really good last night.

Still miss the lovely Rachel Riley. Somehow Dave doesn't have the same effect on me; I wonder why.

Ahhh you will just have to catch Rachel on Countdown Frank, I'm not a daytime TV person but I do like to switch on for that although I'm better at the numbers than the words.

I would love to see every contestant stay until the very last show. Their strength and their weakness in different styles of dancing would be nice to see and we would still have the "not so agile" ones to bring entertainment to the show.

There is so much hard work that goes in to each routine and to then get voted off must be heartbreaking.

Everyone gets my vote for the effort they put in to provide a reason to watch television on a Saturday night.

I'm warming to the presenter Claudia. I love her quick wit and sense of humour.

I'm disappointed that Natalie couldn't dance, I think she would have been brilliant at the jive. As you say Frank I thought Craig's marking was off last night. Patrick is now my second favourite I thought his 'America smooth' was excellent.

Hi emjay,

That’s about where I would place Patrick as Natalie looks home and dry bar a fall. I can only hope you’ll consider voting for Patrick as I’ve had a small wager on him....I wouldn’t normally ask for such a favour but my wife said I need to tidy myself up a tad as my trousers have holes in them and my big toe is sticking out of my shoe  The winnings would go a long way to making me respectable again!!

Keep smiling

Regards

Ha Ha Keefy ...order trousers as well

Not really a surprise that Dave and Mark were in the 'dance off' but I do think the wrong one went through ( just my opinion ) Dave was IMO the better of the two but hey who cares we are all voting for Patrick now

I thought there was little to chose between them Jo, I hope next week Mark goes. He will have had his Blackpool experience, but he should be leaving it to the Dancers after that.

I hope to see Natalie next week or we will not be seeing her again. Unfortunately, it seems that Bruce will be back next week.
