The good thing about Keefy's choccies are that with them being invisible no one ever puts on weight…

Hi Karen,

No I haven’t seen the "myfitnesspal.com" site but I’ll look forward to checking it out tomorrow...Thank you!.... we’re going to need all the help we can get.

Giving up smoking and gaining weight seems to go hand in hand but well done for giving up the evil weed.

I’m also looking forward to losing this heavy load and together... with lots of encouragement from each other “we will” make it happen.

Kind regards

Keith

Hello sparrow...didn’t see you there

The other good thing about keefy chocolates is that they don’t cost me anything either

Hi Onelife,

I have already signed up to your Pinch an Inch diet" and just wandered if you had seen the "myfitnesspal.com" site - it calculates your calories and takes into account the exercise you have done that day - it bases it on 1200 calories a day for ladies not sure about men.

Hi Karen,

I didn’t need to check out the site as when I mentioned it to my wife she said that it’s the one she uses on her I-pad. She went through it with me this afternoon and from what I can see it seems a great tool if you wish to watch and record your calorie intake (which of course is something we’re all going to have to do).

I think everyone who has joined the “Pinch an Inch Diet” will need to think how they themselves are going to go about their diet...For instance I will be cutting out cheese...which won’t be easy as I love cheese. ...I’m also going to cut out bread.

I think over the next few weeks” before our diet starts” members should try and think of a couple of things they are willing to sacrifice in pursuit of that slimmer healthier body.

I’m going to leave this thread now and pick it up again nearer the time...In the meant time just keep reminding yourselves that you’re starting your diet on the 3rd January.

Well I hope you’ve all enjoyed a very happy Christmas and in doing so stuffed yourselves to the brim with all them yummy things which will no doubt have added a few extra pounds to your already out of control body mass index... not to mention a few extra inches to your increasing “pinch-an -inch” waist lines

Well don’t you fear Onelife is here...with only 5 days to go before the launch of the Onelife pinch-an-inch diet I thought it best to remind all my fellow pinch-an-inchers that the time has come to start thinking positively about how you/me/we are going to tackle our over-indulgence problems.

There are no magic bullets that will make dieting any easier to digest but I am sure a little encouragement along the way will make a big difference as to how we go about achieving our desired weight loss... that dear pinch-an-inchers is what the Onelife pinch-an-inch diet is about.

This of course is only a suggestion but how about if we have a weekly weigh in on Sunday mornings, which should give us a little encouragement which may help to ease the following weeks hunger pains.
I will calculate who wins the slimmer of the week award and forward a stick of Onelife celery to the winner. There will be a monthly slimmer of the month award but there is no point in telling you what it is because I will be winning it!!

Obviously there is no requirement to disclose your present weight or indeed how much weight you would like to lose as this plan only requires the amount you lose in lbs per week. Our first weigh-in will be Sunday 12th January which should give us all enough time to adjust to a our diet plans and hopefully see a lb or two difference on the scales.

May I take this opportunity of wishing all my fellow pinch-an-inchers a very happy and much healthier 2014.

(Update on the 3rd)

Regards

Keith

Oh go on then I'll join. I'm not very good at dieting I'm afraid, but I would like to lose some weight. I'd like to lose a stone but I can't promise I'll be any good at this. To make it fun I put Miranda Heart's 'Maracattack' DVD on my Christmas list, and I've now got that and a nice pair of green maracas to go with it (No uncouth comments please). Such fun.

Bit of a porker then .......oink oink :)

I must admit to putting on three pounds myself. God knows how, as I've had a stinking cold all Christmas and have been coughing my little heart (stone) away.

I put it down to being force fed with booze and food while I've not been compos mentus.

dear Cheese eating porker
I will not be joining your fat buggers club, as I don't need to
Also we embark on a 2 week , all inclusive Caribbean cruise in exactly 3 weeks and I am not dieting on holiday
According to Bupa I have low cholesterol, perfect blood pressure, the correct BMI and no apparent lung damage from smoking ,Oh and the physique of a runner  oh yes I have

so while you are sweating and straining to loose your spare cheesy tyre, I will be gorging on 5 course dinners, cocktails and beer and a full English fry up every morning

good luck lardy a*se

I am signed up and also use the 'my fitness pal app' although don't like it as much since the so called upgrade.

Got on the scales this morning and had put on 13 pounds since the morning we started our cruise. I now have 4 weeks to lose this excess blubber so I have started today although I have been to my granddaughters birthday party and drank the best part of a bottle of red. Now on fizzy water.

Will check in on the 3rd.

you can all scoff....but I don't need to diet..unlike the chubsters on here who have or are going to seed

so mock away...but I have had more medical check ups ,than a drug taking cyclists and know I am healthy

so whilst you porkers are huffing and puffing ,trying to get into clothes 20 years to small for you, I will have another cake
