What the funny thing is that people talk about things like their name, address, DOB, mothers maiden name, grand parent names etc. (and arguably your bank account number) being private and personal data ... and then they go and give away much more on the likes of Facebook. All the things I listed are in the public domain and easily found ... the real personal information that should be kept secret are PIN's, passwords, answers to personal questions etc.


BTW, I trust nobody is silly enough to answer those security questions correctly .. for instance the last answer you give to the question 'what is your mothers maiden name' is your mothers maiden name ... recognise the question and answer it with the name of your first pet, your first school or your favourite bar of chocolate
