Our preferred cruise line . . . . Saga
I always enjoyed posting our wonderful cruise experiences on the now closed Saga Zone
Thought it inappropriate to post our joyous sojourns on a site of another cruise forum

It gets friendlier too. If we get enough members perhaps we should charter the Adonia and all go together. I wonder what that would cost us?
Dream on Frank....unless we win Euromillions.

At least we'd be able to insist on a behind-the-scenes tour!david63 wrote:At a rough guess I would say say about £200k per nightFrank Manning wrote:... perhaps we should charter the Adonia and all go together. I wonder what that would cost us?

I think you are probably right David £200K per night, I thought £2.7M for a 24 night cruise. A drop in the Ocean if one of us wins Euro millions. Dropped in the ocean if anyone misbehaves on board.

Given that I'm in scruff order for most of the working day, that might not be too bad....

you would look simply dashing in white tie and tails whilst eating your burger on deck

Re: Cruise Community - The friendly cruise forum...
It could spoil the ambience of the entire cruise if we had a fight over dress codes before we started!! It seems to be the most contentious issue on the forum.
So perhaps we could compromise. Any suggestions??
I'll start the ball rolling;
Males
Formal nights, Striped multicolour blazer and Black tie worn with suitable national football shirt, and with cumerbund outside of dress trousers with branded trainers.
On semi formal nights Black imitation leather bomber jackets over white T shirts and obligatory heavy gold chain. Jeans, with no socks and only flip flops.
Resort wear, swimmies (no budgie smugglers!!), with string vests and bare feet.
There will be a tattoo parlour attached to the spa for the duration of the cruise; special rates for first time buyers.
Awaiting alternative suggestions.
Sue will kill me if she reads this.
