It's my brothers birthday today too Wina, seems all the good ones were born on the 6th December.Wina G wrote:Happy Birthday Billy, it would have been your 65th birthday today & you were so looking forward to the party tonight xx![]()
The Chatsworth, his local pub, are still going ahead with the party in memory of Billy![]()

There still isn't any news about funeral arrangements, by all accounts there's still lots of paperwork to do
I've just raised a glass of my favourite Red to Billy, a lovely man who sadly didn't get to enjoy his retirement but I'm sure he's smiling down on everyone knowing how much he was thought of and missed.
Happy Birthday Billy.

It's so sad. I only knew him from the forum but I'll be thinking of him too.

For all Billy's friends, I went to Billy's farewell today and I'm pleased to say it was exactly as it should have been. Tears, laughter and plenty of Shirley.B x

I can't say l had a lot of chat/banter with Billy as most of his posting were on the "last one to post" threads....(little to witty and fast paced for me) l did however get the chance to meet Billy when l along with a few others got invited to the Adonia namming ceremony. It didn't take long in his company to see what a charismatic gentlman he was and can fully understand why he will be missed so greatly.
I can't think of a greater tribute to Billy's memory than when you're on your next P&O cruise by ordering yourselves a bottle of Billy Billy....what better way of letting him know you are thinking of him?
Here's to you Billy.
