garlic bread and chicken strippers

A large thin, ideally home made, base cooked in a wood fired oven ... a simple authentico ' Margarita ' with added Mozzerella served piping hot with a few mixed leaves plus a bottle of Chianti Classico.

My own onion, mushroom, sweetcorn, tomato, pepper with cheddar and parmesan cheese on a pitta bread base. Yum!

Not a huge fan of pizzas otherwise.

Pizza Diavolo or Pepperoni Pizza are my favorites on a thin crispy base. Not at all keen on fruit in what is a savoury dish.

Defo homemade with capers, olives, caramelised leeks, sundried tomatoes, scotch bonnet chillies and smoked tofu (no cheese being vegan) delicious especially washed down with a nice Chianti (alla Moby).

Best pizza ever was in Naples, it was to die for and so simple being a pizza base, tomato sauce, olive oil, oregano, and garlic, called a Marinara . In the UK a Marinara would be a seafood pizza.

The best Pizza I ever had was in a roof top restaurant in Lindos.
it was a simple affair with just tomato cheese and ham and was in between a flat and deep crust pizza. I normally don't eat pizza (my only experience being Dominos, Pizza ht and frozen) but Julie had ordered it and could not finish it so, being the gentleman that I am I offered to help. It was probably the first pizza I ate that showed me pizza could be nice.

We don't care for the deep pan bases, much prefer a thin base with more topping

One of our friends built himself a real wood-burning pizza oven in his garden.

We had a great pizza party there last year. He made real bases from scratch and we made our own pizzas to our preferences.

One of the nicest was a simple tomato, mozzarella, garlic pizza, with fresh herbs and olive oil.
