Posting too quickly
Hi David,
I dont know whether it is the fact that I am quick at typing but I keep getting up a red message to say that I cannot post so soon having already made a post. Is this normal, is there a time default?
Thanks, Jack

This is normal and is set so that you cannot post again for 60 seconds - the objective is to stop spamming.
As there are a few who are having problems I will reduce it to 30 seconds.

It isn't really a problem, you just have to wait for a few more seconds.
No big deal.

Re: Posting too quickly
Is the ten character rule to deter spam as well? Can't quite see how that would work

Partly spam and also to make sure that (hopefully) there is a reasonably reply and people do not post dots!!

Re: Posting too quickly
I suppose they could post 10 dots if the mood takes them but hopefully not necessary now the missing post syndrome is a thing of the pastdavid63 wrote:Partly spam and also to make sure that (hopefully) there is a reasonably reply and people do not post dots!!
