I've always said that hospitals are dangerous places Dot! Had you been inhaling the 'laughing gas' before the ward rounds & it made you light headed?

I thought I was clumsy & attracted bad luck but you are going for the Guinness Book of Records I think! One weekend I tripped & broke the big toe on my right foot. The next day, whilst de-cluttering the wardrobe, I dropped a heavy drawer on my left foot & broke that big toe. A week later, on Christmas Day, my puppy dog tripped me up at the top of the stairs & I landed at the bottom with a broken elbow. The A & E doctor happened to be our Police Surgeon & he never let me live it all down!

I'll have you know cubie and Babs that the only alcohol in hospital is the gel at the end of the beds!

I think you're right Babs, though any future cruise with me could end up with one of us overboard, depending whether I trip towards Port or Starboard.

Rhiannon's been taking great care of me thanks Shirley until 007 gets home and thanks for the lovely choccies Keefy I'll keep an eye out for them.

Angela I don't know what I would do without the forum to read, it's kept me sane this last year and there's loads to catch up on to fill the time in.

Romig you'd be surprised just how dextrous tortoises can be with their strange feet, rather like me!

Many thanks again to everyone, a successful mission to the hospital without any further mishaps!

Thankfully there was no mention of an operation made by the Consultant, just more x-rays in two weeks to see how the shoulder's healing, so fingers crossed it's straightforward and will be healed in about six weeks........yayyyyy

Poor HK, what's happened to her, does anyone know yet? Although Romig had better watch out when she gets back!

As for HK well she was apparently trying to undo a strappy sandal whilst in the bathroom and mistakenly leant against the shower curtain for balance. A backward roll into the shower enclosure soon reminded her why leaning against an object that isn't solid is a bad idea
