I had to change mine yesterday - luckily I remembered it at the 2nd attempt!

I discovered that once changed you can go direct to control panel and change it back!

Nobody is suggesting that you, or any other member of this forum, is a Spammer. The issue is that at some point your IP address has been used by a spammer and has been "blacklisted" and add into the equation of having email addresses such as Hotmail & Gmail then there is an added risk of getting blocked.

If there were not so many idiots using the Internet and thinking that it is funny and/or clever to cause mayhem then these features would not be necessary. I can assure you that if these features were not in place then there would be a multitude of spammers on this forum but the majority get blocked and the few that do get under the radar are soon dealt with.

It was only a hiccup... Just did me head in cos I'm useless and could get it right.

Yes - that nearly caught me out, but I soon realised what was going on and sorted it.

Don't worry folks. It took me a few attempts to get my password sorted so you're not on your own.

I'm dreading when my password needs changing - I haven't a clue which one I've used for this site - I don't sign out at all - I've got a short cut straight to the site - oh well I'm sure someone will help me out when the time comes around

I've stuck with two passwords for this forum which are very similar so easy to remember, if it isn't one it will be the other  I wasn't sure if the one I originally used ( 12 months ago ) would be accepted again but it was.

I've had to change my password once. I can't forget this one because inspite of ticking the box everytime, I always have to put my password in. :?

Jan maybe you should log out then log in again and click on forgotten password so you can sort it out now.

I must have been lucky because I had no problems at all when I changed mine the other day.
