Must say well played Leicester , totally out played us tonight although I did feel that one or two tackles went unpunished but that's football I suppose

4:1 to Foxy's lot against the ' Mighty ' Rams, sure looks like their bubble has finally burst but who knows.

ps ... TWWAB will now start to earn his money if they are not to start a decline.

He can only get better Mob.

My lot were magnificent last night. They seem to be getting better all the time. I just hope we don't go into freefall again.

A good signing for Huddersfield soon paying off.

Evening all

How nice is this

Several footie coaches made the long journey from Burton to play The Cherries in the FA Cup

Just an hour of the kick-off the officials called the match off, pitch akin to a Watercress Bed

The local supporters started a kitty and a considerable amount was collected, resulting in three coaches were booked to bring the Buxton to Dean Court free of charge and a free half time pie and mushies

BTW Bournemouth were victorious and have a fascinating next round hosting Liverpool

I do hope none of the Home Side get "bitten" :D

Well, there will be a very happy Fox. McDermott reckons Leeds should have been 3 up at half-time...such a shame!

Town are away at QPR today, who have only conceded 4 at home all season..... doesn't bode too well, so a draw would be a great result...please??

Foxy is indeed very happy.  We didn't play at all well but we managed to nick a goal at the end. It's happened against us so I am delighted to accept. Good luck to Huddersfield and to Sheff Weds this afternoon for reasons which escape me at the moment.

Romig, do I detect a sense of delight at your good neighbour's misfortune?

Nah Moby, if you read back you'll see that I wasn't expecting owt from today.

Listening to it on the radio though, it sounded like a good game, to which Town contributed greatly. The fact that we scored where many other teams haven't is great cause for optimism.

I'm far from despondent, if a tad disappointed that we couldn't hang on once we drew level.

Some of the Footy Officials really are a waste of space, why can't we have ex players in the role ?

Today Watford are one up at the Cherries and then there is a maybe foul in the penalty area, the ref sees nothing wrong but ( and not for the first time this season ) the idiot linesman puts his flag across his chest ... perhaps he had indegestion ?

Anyhowz the ref calls a halt to the game and they have a lengthy conflab, eventually they decide what needs to be done for the good of the game ... Angella is red carded and a penalty is awarded, so now it's 1:1.

So what's wrong with that you are thinking ... well, Angella wasn't even involved and if anybody was actually guilty of anything at all it would be Ekstrand.

That crap decision has cost us the three points  but at least we will win the appeal against the red card

I have just seen the Angella incident and agree it's amazing that the ref could get his decision so wrong. Angella was nowhere near the incident. Time for the fourth official with a replay monitor as they have in rugby? It wouldn't hold the game up and would avoid mistakes such as this.

I see Nahki Wells got his name on the score sheet again. He could turn out to be a very good signing.

It gets better OBF ... he awarded a second spot kick against us and nobody touched him, a dive that was at least two metres away from any Watford player but Almunia saved it thankfully or maybe the Cherry on the Spot was too embarrassed to score

What about Newcastle's goal against Man City last week that was ruled out because the ref decided an offside player was obstructing the goalkeeper? I'm not surprised managers, players and fans get annoyed when such mistakes are made.

I dd think there may have been a few managerial sackings today - Freedman, Ince and maybe Big Sam. Sometimes, though, I don't think clubs can afford to sack them, such are the lucrative contracts they have been given.

Funnily enough Foxy, that Newcastle incident was identical to the first goal at Colchester last week.
In our case, the goal stood and we lost 3-0

This week it was like watching Brazil. An easy 2-0 over Swindon

Still consistantly inconsistant.

We had a complete shambles today.

Walking all over Charlton for the first 30 minutes. Our winger got crocked, and Robins decides against the ex-Premiership winger, Scannel from the bench, in favour of a promising young midfielder (who simply isn't a winger). We lost all the impetus, and the second half was simply awful. Charlton scored with their ONE shot on target all game, and we couldn't break through their 10 man defence after that. Immediately after they scored, Robins acknowledged his mistake by re-substituting the sub (God only knows what that will have done to the poor lad's confidence), but this meant that in the final quarter when we should have brought on Jon Stead in an attempt to get an equaliser, we had no substitutions left, leaving us to finish the game with a whimper.

Very disappointing, and I bet Charlton now draw a big club at home too!

Frustrating day for you Romig, especially when you looked as though you could be cruising to a win. How is that young lad Norwood doing?

And I was getting quite excited for Mob's lot when they went 2-0 up. It wasn't to last, they have such a strong squad but the Hornets went very close to getting a replay. Two goals in the last 5 minutes undid them but that's why their squad cost multi millions and Mob's lot a lorry load of spaghetti and half a dozen boxes of Dolmio.

I can't believe how well we are doing at the moment. We made heavy weather of it in the first half when the pitch was heavy with rain. It didn't help a team who like to pass theball around but the second half was a different affair. It soundss like we have a new Knockaert - another French lad with a few tricks in his locker who looked good in the 15 minutes he had on the pitch. After the disappointment of last season I'm just taking it one match at a time and enjoying it.

And Frank Manning's lot had a 3-0 win at Nuneaton and are top of the league.
