Can I join your group???
Must tell you though I'm a member of SW too.. :?
Iv lost 2 st 8lbs since august. Put quite a bit on at Xmas, but Iv lost that already.
I need to loose another 3 stone. I'm not looking for an ideal weight as a target, I'm looking to be a size 14 - 16. I'm going into a 20 now. I was at my heaviest size 24-26. I lost nearly 6st a few years ago, but since put a big bit back on. So I'm on the journey again, with my eldest son.. He has lost over 3 st since August.

Hi Sue,

Onelifes, pinch-an-inch diet is open to anyone so welcome aboard. I've decied to waiver the signings on fee and you won't be required to add anthing to the weekly hamper which is more than can be said for some diet plans l could mention

As you might have already gathered Onelife has tons of celery sticks to give away to those who lose the most during any given week, add to this the monthly prize of an Iceberg lettuce then you can see why the Onelife diet has become a world wide phenomenon.

Stay strong Sue we're all in this together

Remember pinchers....".Double gins create double chins"

Hi Sue,

Although the official weigh-ins are on Sundays any day of the week will be fine. The now limp coveted celery stick winner will be announced on Sunday as will the wooden spoon recipient....by the way pinchers there's no more room if you're thinking of sticking it where my wife shoved the last one...Ouch!!!

Stay strong pinchers, and remember "chocolate overdose makes you gross"

Regards

Keith

Hi folks,

I didn't get time yesterday to post my weigh in result yesterday but I have put on 1lb from last week however I know that it was the 4 bottles of Smirnoff ice that some one got my wife at Christmas (she doesn't drink!!) and a bottle of white wine that I consumed on Sunday. It was in the fridge and every time I opened the door it was winking at me..
I played squash last night and on weighing this morning I had lost 2lb but as my weigh in day is Tuesday it's has to be a gain this week.

Keep up the good work everyone.
By the way if I get the wooden spoon do you put lubricant on it

I was doing so well. :( We've been out to eat, I've had a 3 course meal ending with Bailey's profiteroles but I DON'T CARE. I may not do the weigh in on Sunday however, because by then I probably will care. :(

What with Frank,RB and now Emjay likely to have put on weight this week, it looks like I might qualify for the celery stick ( no thanks Keith and I don't like iceberg lettuce much either).

By the way, Keith, are you sat at home thinking up encouraging sayings - that last one about chocolate wasn't exactly poetry.

Hi RB,

I had no choice in the matter so can't really advise...however if you must punish yourself then some kind of lubricant may be advisable... just keep telling yourself..."no pain no gain"

Btw....l've really let the side down today

We had lamb hotpot tonight and my wife went and stuck two bread rolls in the oven then turned to me and said...."well you don't have to have one if you dont want one....how bloody unfair was that?

DQ, No no no. How can you be so good and then tempted by a bottle of vino. Something to nibble whilst you are supping is then even more temptation.

Temptation is one of the hardest words in the dictionary, but then maybe the word dieting beats it.

Good evening pinchers,

So how we been doing this past couple of days?

Well it was sausage, mushroom and black pudding sandwiches for dinner tonight (please stop drooling while l'm speaking to you) which isn't something l would encourage my fellow pinchers to have but l've been pretty good all week so l thought keefy deserved a treat.

Tripped over the scales again this morning and another 3 lbs has gone missing, so even if tonight's indulgance costs me an extra lb at Sundays weigh-in l'll still be chuffed to bits... 9 lost 19 to go.

I know it wouldn't suit everybody but l really do think my Ryvita, cottage cheese, ham, black pudding and olive lunches have been the key to my success. Apart from cutting out bread (tonight was an exception) and cheese l havn't really changed what l eat other than to say what l have eaten have been smaller in portion.

Good luck to you all but especially so for Sue....fingers crossed Sue, l'm sure we all wish you all the best in hopfully reaching your target weight.

Remember..."two pork pies make chunky thighs"

Stay strong pinchers

Regards

Keith

Well, I have to confess that the diet went out the window tonight. Welshie announced her engagement today so celebrations were the order of the evening.

Even so, the Lady C was examining Sparks & Mencers' ready meals (other meal deals are available) with a careful eye on the fat content. Plus, I;ll be walking up to the town centre tomorrow morning to collect my new glasses (a mile each way).

Thinking about it, no-one else dipped into the bottle of Syrah that I've just finished.... (hic)

I might sneak a look at the scales in the morning.

Have to say, though, Keefy, the Ryviat and cottage cheese could be a goer - wouldn't have the black pudding or the olives though (eating blodd is a conscience thing and I think olive is an anagram of "o vile".... Haven't had my usual cup-a-soup lunch for a week or so now, the Lady C is experimenting with strips of celery, pepper etc and low-fat homous and yoghurt dips for my lunch.

Thanks for the encouragement Keith.

I had a little blip last night. But It was only a little bottle of red. About 1/3 of a full bottle not much more than a glass really. Well it was Friday night and I have been so good.

I got on the scales this morning and I have lost another 2 1/2 lb this week. That's 12 1/2 off in total. I am still going to try hard to get that extra 1/2 lb off before we set off on Wednesday.

Good luck all for the official weigh in tomorrow.

Well I did step on the scales a couple of days ago and I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself ( all will be revealed tomorrow )

I'm not out to win the 'coveted celery stick' ... goodness I have enough celery in my fridge to feed all of you

I have stayed on the 'straight and narrow' purely and simply because of the efforts of all of you, if you can do it so can I so every time I've been tempted this week I've reminded myself that it's a pretty lame excuse to say ' I haven't lost an ounce' and must try harder next week !!!

It's certainly worked for me this week but I'm soooo looking forward to having a couple of glasses of Vino tonight ( my treat of the week )
