Elvis Presley was alive and well in Taunton, Somerset last night. I have been a fan of Elis Presley for over 50 years and never actually saw him in concert when he was alive, but last night Lee "Memphis" King made up for this. This man has the voice, the moves asnd the costumes, when he walks on stage and starts singing you feel that Elvis is there with you. Thy say Elvis was a one and only and that is very true but there is only one tribute artist that can do him justice and keep his memory alive and that is Lee "Memphis" King. If you have the opportunity and you like Elvis than go and see this show. Great backing singers and musicians as well.

I am sure he is great and although not a lover of tribute acts, will look out for him. Elvis TAs always make me laugh remembering my son being on holiday in Spain and the resorts resident "Elvis" was staying in the apartment under them.... Being young and not a fan it drove him mad although he does have some great piccies and funny stories to tell.

I wouldn't say I was a massive fan but I liked many of the little ditties he did ... he actually did one of my all time favourite tracks 'Suspicious Minds' (although I preferred Fine Young Cannibals version)

I was a big fan during his Laudy Miss Claudy / Heartbreak Hotel lean n mean Rock 'n' Rolling days but once the crappo films and sing-a-long stuff arrived I lost interest completely, still have most of his original hits during his Sun / HMV period.

We have seen a few good Elvis tributes in our time including one in Las Vegas but the most memorable one was the owner of a Chinese Restaurant near Stockport ... " La Liu Loneshone tonight ... etc "
