No need Shiney. Just enjoy the short time when men can in two words edgeways.
Last night I spent some time on YouTube looking at train simulations. It was a bit like watching paint dry but quite relaxing nevertheless. Now the Flight simulations are something different, as are some of the setups some of these guys have. I think it must be cheaper to fly the real thing!!! Alright, maybe not, but you know what I mean

too late, Foxy, the wonderful David has already set up a Hobbies thread for us.
I was into flight sim for a while (Stephen's your man for that) and enjoyed downloading some of the RAF bases I'd been at and was amazed at the accurately. I think having replica instrument panels plugged into the USB ports, while looking impressive, is taking it a bit too far.

very happy to chat to you here, fair maiden, but it would be going very off-topic to start talking about a minority?) hobby here, so out of respect for the others, we can talk about that elsewhere!Jan Rosser wrote:Oh well if you don't want to chat to us on here Shiney I'll have to communicate with you on another thread you are very active onas for OBF he's asking for a slap

Well I don't think I even knew this existed. Anyway, we have had exciting news this afternoon, our second daughter, 21 weeks pregnant has announced the baby is pink!

Congratulations - my first grandchild is due in approximately 3 weeks - we are still neutral though as it had its legs crossed at the scan! I'm pretty sure it will be 'blue' but you never know.

We won't get to see our grand daughter a great deal as our daughter and her partner live over 200 miles away. But I see us travelling a lot more.

Congratulations Gill and Tinks - you have so much to look forward to. I now have two granddaughters aged 12 and 8 (they are the ones who love cruises) and two grandsons just coming up to 12 and 10 - but all living far away - the girls almost 200 miles away and the boys in LuxembourgGillD46 wrote:We won't get to see our grand daughter a great deal as our daughter and her partner live over 200 miles away. As long as it's "blue" and not blue, who cares? Here's to a safe delivery and good health to both.

Thanks Shiney - |I don't mind what sex it is as long as mum and baby are ok. Surprised how nervy and on edge OH and I are. I guess it is strange for your baby to be having a baby!Silver_Shiney wrote:As long as it's "blue" and not blue, who cares? Here's to a safe delivery and good health to both.

Hi Suespud just stumbled on this post when I came in from my workshop to order some stuff from Screwfix, did I see some mention of a dress code?, oh dear I have wood shavings all over me and glue on my shirt, perhaps I better come back when the code is fancy dress and I can enter as Wurzel Gummage.

Too late foxy, Cheryl has spotted the sawdust on the conservatory floor this morning, I meant to hoover it up but the old grey matter isn't what it used to be. My next project might be a kennel as I've spent the last 46 years in the dog house.oldbluefox wrote:Just make sure you wipe your feet Raybo!

Re: Ladies Who Chat(and men of course)
Tony went out earlier with a kettle of boiling water to eliminate the flying ants nest in the greenhouse. But most of the water appears to be on the conservatory floor! When I pointed it out, he said "it's only water, it'll dry"
Hmmmm! What do we do with you men?
