Friendship - (warning a little bit sad)
..just been looking after Chloe, my 7 year old granddaughter and as normal we talked about school. What game did you play at lunchtime I asked. I stayed in class was the reply, I wanted to help Kiera write her speech as she was finding it hard. At that point I welled up.... you see Kiera is her best friend, they met on day 1 at school, and last week her 4 year old brother unexpectedly died after being admitted to hospital feeling unwell. Kiera wants to read something at the funeral, something she wrote... something remembering Kai - that is why Chloe stayed in at lunchtime, instead of going out to play with all the others - to support her best friend.

What a sweet thing to do - sometimes children can be so caring and thoughtful - she's sounds like a lovely little girl xxx

That is a lovely thing to do and what a great friend your grand daughter is.

I would imagine you feel quite proud at how your granddaughter tackled this situation - what a lovely little girl.

I am extremely proud and I know on the day she will also be there (after much deliberation my son and DIL have decided she will be able to cope - which I support fully) alongside Kiera and then after the sadness of the funeral, they have decided to have a childrens party for their remaining two children's and Kai's friends... amazing familyBoris+ wrote:I would imagine you feel quite proud at how your granddaughter tackled this situation - what a lovely little girl.
