New password - so confused!

I tried to get into the site a few minutes ago. It said I had to reset my password. As usual I have tried in vain to do this. I'm quite sure I entered the correct current password but it just kept telling me to reset over and over again.

In despair I just copied the site address, whacked it into Google and here I am apparently logged in and able to post.

So have I changed my password without realising it or what?

Please Mr Administrator, could you send me an email clarifying this?

I received the 'change password' message a couple of weeks ago..

I duly changed it and a few mins later I changed it back to the original - which was happily accepted

Very tempted to do so myself Meg, though forced password changes are generally to reduce the chance of hackers getting into your account. Just imagine if a fraudster got in here and starting insulting the Modplods in your name! You'd be drummed out of the Brownies!
