Daffs
. . . . are the Daffodil the best weather resilient joy ever
Just two spring like days, I have been completely made up
Our wonderful Poole Borough Council have planted, some years ago, trillions of Daffodil bulbs in the central reservation on all dual carriage ways into/out of town
My journey this morning was thus
. . .
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Life is good in rural Dorset, make no mistake about that
Lubooo all - have yourselves a good Spring Weekend

Re: Daffs
Our daffs have been in flower for about 10 days and there are loads of primroses out in the area

Re: Daffs
We did a walk today, just a short one - and it's a bit hit and miss with the Daffs ..... probably depends on which type they are I suppose.
Snowdrops seemed to be going over, but then we found some Primroses mostly standard but one or two very pale pink; and Catkins - glorious Catkins.

We are on the coast and have only had two frosts in our garden this winter so I think most plants are early here. Have quite a few snowdrops and loads of primroses out. Loads of cyclamen too.

Re: Daffs
Lots of daffs out in my garden, and some still t come, but my flowering plum is pathetic this year. I am planning to seed and dress my lawn tomorrow, because the one at the front of the house is quite shaded and has suffered badly this winter.
