No Ken - it's an innocent reply! Honest! 8-) I am interested in astronomy, I do have a large telescope and I do really want to spend a long night star-gazing with Prof Brian Cox !!

I'd prefer Ewan McGregor myself.

He seems like a nice bloke, and is rather attractive too
Ewan does seem to be a good bloke and quite down-to-earth. Did you see the biking programmes he did with Charlie Boorman?
Yes, great travel programmes they were. I've got the books too.

Ewan also did a programme about the Battle of Britain with his brother Colin, who was an RAF pilot. The brother is a bit of a hunk too !

I'd forgotten about that programme. Yes, it was excellent too.

I take it he is no longer with us.

I think your response tops the lot.

Thanks, Romig.

I think, out of respect to haveabeer, we should close this thread.

No there's no need to close the thread my Dad died a few years ago and he was not only my dad but my mate as well.

He was a no nonsense sorta guy spoke his mind and he would have had great fun with cruising I often think when on board if only dad could see me now.

He is sadly missed but please carry on with the thread he would appreciate it

I am in the "have a beer" camp

I would just love to square a few holes with my dear ole Dad

Just him and me on a cruise would be excellent

He was a top man - which sadly I failed to realise this until he was no longer around

So true like you my dad was a top man only when he was gone did i realise how much he did for
me and how much i learnt from him.
In his life he had many life changing illnesses and twice we were told he would not make it but his determination
to live was an inspiration.
