I am trying to trace a old school friend I know the town he lives in but can't find his address as all the sites I try you have to join up and pay are there any free sites that I can use tried BT and Royal Mail appears he must be x directory

Possibly the best site would be 192.com where you can do a lot of basic searching for free - sometimes you can get information for free but that is the luck of the draw.

To dig deeper you will have to pay but you can get quite a lot of information for £10 if you have something to start with.

Tried F/B not easy searching on there thousands of them lol friends reunited I will try 192 came up with his name so maybe I will have to pay

Alternatively - do you have any names of other people who might know the whereabouts of this person?

Or you could put an ad in his local paper. Even if he doesn't see it, someone who knows him might.
