I'm not sure why people get so strung up about the results show being recorded. We do all know there is very little live TV these days don't we? And when, for example, Richard Osman says on his quiz show we'll be back tomorrow he actually means in half an hour after the celebs have changed their clothes, because all five days are recorded in one day. And the King doesn't really have to miss his Christmas afternoon nap to deliver his speech. And when it's snowing in Darrowby it's actually July.

Not sure - it could be anyone this week with four having 28 and one with 27 at the bottom

You're right and it's so tight that even once we know who is in the dance off the slightest mistake could change everything

Well that was bizarre. Entirely the wrong people in the dance off.

Its these kinds of results that are making me think Stephen is right about this program…. like you Sir I didn’t think either deserved to be in the dance off.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 26 Oct 2025, 20:25Well that was bizarre. Entirely the wrong people in the dance off.

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2025
Well that was a typical result - it happens every year and it is about time that the BBC became more transparent with the public vote although having said that looking at the polling on the Strictly Spoiler site those two couples were a lot lower down than the judge's scoring. Jimmy I agree was not particularly good this week but it would appear that Amber is not popular with the public even though she is one of the better dancers.
Did anyone else pick up on the comment from Craig this week that Ellie needs to start learning some "technique" - in other words stop throwing her arms around all the time. Yes I know that she has a disability but there does need to be a level playing field and I cannot see how she will be able to do some of the dances, such as the Argentine Tango.

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2025
Hi David, yes, I agree with you about Ellie…my concern now is how she will take it when she gets eliminated. To this end I think it would be helpful if she finds herself in the bottom four next week and the dance off the week after as this would soften the blow for when she eventually gets the boot.
I don’t think the voting public have taken to Amber…she comes across as a bit full of herself, loud and as scatty has hell.
I’m warming to Karen not that she is the best dancer but more so because of her vulnerability…a good combination in this competition and at 20/1 a fair EW shot. She needs to stop thinking the Sword of Damocles is hanging over her head and get a grip.

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2025
I think some of the audience don't like that Amber has previous dance experience, albeit not in ballroom. God help us if they all didn't. It would be one dull show.
I don't agree they should publish the audience vote. That would be so demoralising for some of the competitors. I'm happy to accept the BBC have done the sums. The Spoiler site pretty well confirms that. It's always weird when the judges scores include ties. Four of them on 28 this week.

Some good dancing last night from several of the couples, especially Karen and Lewis - never know Craig to get his 10 paddle out this early in the series.
I think that there are three in trouble last tonight - Ellie, Harry and Balvinder unless there is another "curved ball"

I’ve just checked the spoiler and it now appears Davids tips are as bad as mine….
There were two stand out performances with Lewis and Karen taking top honours.
I thought both dances were right up there with the best I’ve ever seen and I’m now kicking myself for not taking the 20/1 about Karen.

Statistically and based on past audience votes Balvinder could well be in the dance off again. But whether she survives depends on who else is there.

I don’t know about you but for me the real winner of this series has to be Vito...what an inspiration he has been to Ellie and what an inspiration Ellie has been to the rest of us.david63 wrote: 02 Nov 2025, 09:54Some good dancing last night from several of the couples, especially Karen and Lewis - never know Craig to get his 10 paddle out this early in the series.

Poor lass must be wondering when it's all going to end. She has had more than her fair share of bad luck.

The odds of La Voix making it through to the next round are about the same as I have of getting invited around to Towny’s for afternoon tea.
Balvinda will be pleased she’s not in the bottom two.
So, it’s hello Alex goodbye La Voix.

I wouldn't count on La Voix being in the dance off. She has considerable audience support.

Choose any two from Balvinda, Amber or Harry
Vicky has become a strong contender after tonight's performance. Still want Alex for the final.

I was in two minds as to whether it should be Alex or Harry for the dance off but La Voix should definitely be out this week…The fact that Tess called him a “she” is an insult to women…get it out of here.
Karen is fav in my book despite Lewis being the best dancer imo.
