STOP PRESS ... only the best will do for us Hornets

" Watford FC is pleased to confirm the appointment of Xisco Muñoz ( aka the Cisco KId ) as Head Coach.

The 40-year-old Spaniard – with an attacking philosophy to his coaching – was most recently manager at Dinamo Tbilisi, where he guided the club to a second successive Georgian league title in 2020 ".

ps ... Nigel Pearson, it seems, failed to turn up for the interview

pps ... well done the Shots, sorry Jill, I didn't notice your scoreline

Wow!
Now that is impressive 👍
Champions of ......... Georgia 😂

Wasn’t the last bloke from the Israeli league?

Why would anyone think that this is the key to success.
To be fair, given the players available at Watford, my granny could manage them but as for automatic promotion, that’s tough in the Championship.
I’ve had a little wager on Brentford.
Toney is a goal machine.

Excellent start 👍

No game for us due to covid.

Plymouth away on the 2nd which would have been a definite away game for me in normal circumstances.
Never mind 😒

Quick turn round for the Palace. We are at home to Leicester tomorrow. Live on Prime. The way we are playing at the moment an easy 3 points for the Foxes. What do you reckon OBF ?

You would have thought that when we played Fulham and what a disaster that turned out to be 😣. Fortunately we seem to play better away from home so anything could happen. Must say your lot looked a shambles but Villa are playing well. I like the look of that Eze fella 🖒

Probably a Palace win today. 70% possession to Leicester, Zaha (or his brother Sarhar) and Benteke with his knee to score. 2 -0 to Palace. :(
(Zaha usually plays a blinder against us although he's not so quick nowadays).
I wonder who will fall over the most today - Maddison or Zaha?)

I'm looking forward to the game but I think your prediction is a bit off. We are playing the worse football for ages. What's worse losing 7-0 at home or being beaten by 10 men? As to who will fall over the most Wilf or Madison . That will be Wilf. No problem preferably in the penalty area, do he can con the ref and var and get s couple of pens. Which we will probably miss and Leicester will win 1-0 with a Vardy worldy in the 95th minute.

I think the Foxys will win, maybe 1:2, but Wolf Zolhair will be carded if he stumbles like he's been struck by a lightning bolt inside the penalty area. As an aside I cannot fathom why Benteke can't score goals any more :?

Just been watching Gills v Watford 2003 Boxing Day.
Hornets has Danny Webber and Heider Helguson up front.

Bensham, do you want us to leave Iheanacho behind for you? I've seen more threat from a fly in a paper bag!!!

Just about a fair result. We wasted a lot of good chances, had plenty of the ball but did nothing with it. Not keen on all this passing the ball around the back and going nowhere. A couple of plates of bangers and mash and you can have Iheanacho.

We are happy with a point especially the way we have been playing. Hopefully that's the kick start we need to get out season back on track (I sound like Linker, that's a worry)

By the way OBF we don't want Iheanacho. We've got Benteke so there.
