I thought it was very gracious of one of the players (can’t remember his name) being interviewed this morning on the beeb news by Sue Barker and recognising her life in tennis and commentating and wishing her well for the future.

Agree the sets were good, but, the atmosphere and the well known songs with everyone singing made them 'brill'. The crowds could not hear the artists singing like we could on TV. Good luck to all who were there, as I sure they all had a really great time and had the 'buzz' of a huge gathering.

Good tennis match between Williams and Tan last night. I thought Williams was going to collapse several times through out the match the way she was struggling with her breathing.

I wouldn't normally follow the tennis but Mrs S likes watching it, and it's surprising how quick you can get engrossed in it.
