I'm not an expert in such matters so I will have to take your word for that

I noticed Jenny Harries was back from serving time at the gulag. If Hancock has only one tie, I’m convinced she’s only got one dress. She always seems to wear that green dress.
(No sign of Van Tam, he must be considered beyond redemption at the reprogramming centre! )

He did admit he would be in the queue for a haircut.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 12:40Gill W wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 12:37Perhaps Johnson will get a hair cut!jacksparrow wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 12:34If it may have started in the market in Wuhan then there probably is a food link... It was clearly a knee jerk reaction by the club as they wouldn’t have a leg to stand on should the person/s appeal against that decision.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 12:40It must be me. Footballers play a match with shirts saying Black Lives Matter.
Someone flies an aeroplane over towing a banner saying White Lives Matter.
The club apologises.
Yes I suspect the motives of the person who hired the aeroplane. But both messages are equally valid.
But not at this moment in time me thinks. On the grround looking up it was viewed as being disrespectful by the Captain of Burnley FC as the plane flew over the Man City ground. Valid therefore but lacking good judgement like wot I thought at the time of watching it live on t'telly.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 12:40It must be me. And what about any other colour lives - do they not matter?Gill W wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 13:50the campaign is saying that black lives matter equally as much as white lives
The ideal would surely be ' start of ' to a BLM supporter / protester ?

Sorry David…but what is getting “ridiculous” is how some are twisting Gill’s meaning to make a point….it was plaintively obvious where she was coming from or is she supposed to cover every conceivable angle of colour/ethnicity before posting?
Scuse me ... I posted twice stating a similar view as expressed by Gill and one person posted once with a reasonable alternate view. Back seat Moderating does not suit you at all old chum.Onelife wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 15:15Sorry David…but what is getting “ridiculous” is how some are twisting Gill’s meaning to make a point….it was plaintively obvious where she was coming from or is she supposed to cover every conceivable angle of colour/ethnicity before posting?![]()

I was not referring to Gill's, nor anyone else's, posts - I was referring to this whole business of the Black Lives Matter campaign which has nothing at all to do with anything in this country - it is an American issue. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon which I do not agree with.Onelife wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 15:15Sorry David…but what is getting “ridiculous” is how some are twisting Gill’s meaning to make a point….it was plaintively obvious where she was coming from or is she supposed to cover every conceivable angle of colour/ethnicity before posting
Are you suggesting that all the coloured folk living in this Country get exactly the same deal and opportunity as white UK nationals ... if so then I would not agree with you but if not then it surely does have something to do with this Country.david63 wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 15:43I was not referring to Gill's, nor anyone else's, posts - I was referring to this whole business of the Black Lives Matter campaign which has nothing at all to do with anything in this country - it is an American issue. As I said, and I will keep saying it, ALL LIVES MATTER irrespective of colour, creed, gender, sexual orientation or anything else.
Not the lives but lack of life opportunity ... is the reason for the protests or so I now believe.oldbluefox wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 15:49Not sure how anybody can argue against ALL LIVES MATTER unless you only look at the issue from a black or white perspective. No life is more equal than any other.

Actually yes I am. But I am not saying that everyone living in this country gets exactly the same deal and opportunity.Manoverboard wrote: 23 Jun 2020, 15:51Are you suggesting that all the coloured folk living in this Country get exactly the same deal and opportunity as white UK nationals
