Shame that it is tinged with ' race-ial ' overtones … or was it rit by a 6 year old  .

I opted to read it as a ' rare condition ' … you really do need to lighten up a tad

If that's the case then maybe we need to find a better way to run the country since most MPs seem incapable of satisfactorily undertaking one task at a time, never mind 2.

I think her comment was intended to be humorous, clearly not a condition familiar to most remainers. :sarcasm:

I'm sure it was intended to be humorous, but it is exactly comments like that that have caused the current backlash against her and her ilk.
A clear indication of the 'bunker mentality' at the top of our political system at the moment.

I generally find that people who are prepared to be humorous are far more tolerant than the ones who who claim to be offended. :sarcasm:

Wasn't what? Humorous, tolerant, or claiming to be offended.

No need to be sorry, she is a Brexit cheerleader after all.
She wasn't humorous, she isn't tolerant. I don't know if she is or claimed to be offended. But she is, in the eyes of the Tory party, a second rate Theresa May.

Although, when a Remainer on this site makes a joke, clearly signposted by the appropriate emoji, it often goes down like a bucket of cold sick in the Leave camp :sarcasm:

Jack me ole mate….Andrea Leadsome comes across as one of the most level-headed of all parliamentarians and apart from Bercow sarcastic responses I have never heard any MP speak badly of her.

UK Government and Parliament
Petition Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU.

The government repeatedly claims exiting the EU is 'the will of the people'. We need to put a stop to this claim by proving the strength of public support now, for remaining in the EU. A People's Vote may not happen - so vote now.
Sign this petition

1,091,181 signatures

I am led to believe that Farage's marchers are to set up a counter petition to 'crash out'  Well that's 70 votes for a starter :sarcasm:

She has done more for remain tonight than campaigners have done over 3 years!

I have signed loads of petitions and always get the same copy pasted response.

However, this one has been going only a few hours, it's fascinating to watch the numbers climb

This one will be on the news in a day or two. She certainly has brought the country together!

As I suspected Annie, predominantly London and many of those who clicked may not be entitled to vote anyway.

If you look at a map of how the UK voted in the referendum, it pretty well reflects that map.

This is what we must be very wary of in our country.
There is a rise of the far right all across Europe , mainly because they say that the politicians are not listening to their concerns.

With the UK Parliament seemingly deadest on not honouring their pledge, will we see a surge in this country like normally liberal Sweden, Denmark and Holland ?

I have to say I felt some sympathy for Anna Sudbury who has just said she is too frightened go home… due apparently to the fear/backlash from those who believe she is disregarding their right to have their voice heard…

Perhaps a night on the streets will give her some appreciation of why so many people are feeling bitter and betrayed.

I think a cliff edge next week will ensure that a night on the street will not be a happy experience. From a pharmacy professional, I understand that antidepressants far outway any other drugs dispensed in the UK. I am not one who would be prepared to gamble with the lack of such drugs and the effect it would have on peoples mental health, both leavers and remainers :-(
