All Wales now need is to avoid losing to italy by more than 2 goals, and they are into the next round.

He's some player that Gareth Bale. I know he missed a penalty but what a game he had. Man of the match by a country mile. Why ain't he English?
You're right OBF Italy did look very good. Best team I've seen so far.

I actually fancy Italy to win the EUROs ... if they click a hat full against Wales is on the cards.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Based on what I have seen of them so far you could well be right Mob. Wales will need to be on top of their game against them.

Scotland the brave, they outplayed England in every department. England wasted three corner kicks and were way inferior in the air…I want my money back

Re: Football 20/21
I thought Southgate played a blinder, the tactics were to finish 2nd overall to ease our passage through to the later rounds by avoiding the big boys. I predict another draw on Tuesday and for Jack to run round in circles with his leg out waiting to get tripped up.

Re: Football 20/21
England remind me of City. We go out and beat Man City, United, Chelsea & Co and struggle against the likes of Fulham, Newcastle and Spurs
England were turgid, slow in attack, unimaginative, spent too much time passing around the back and too defensive. Scotland could have won it although had they scored it would probably have woken England up out of their lethargy and we might have had a more entertaining game.

I thought England managed to throw the Scots a lifeline, without making it too obvious.Onelife wrote: 19 Jun 2021, 08:54Spoken like a true EnglishmanManoverboard wrote: 19 Jun 2021, 08:36I thought Southgate played a blinder, the tactics were to finish 2nd overall to ease our passage through to the later rounds by avoiding the. big boys I predict another draw on Tuesday and for Jack to run round in circles with his leg out waiting to get tripped up.

They certainly have thrown them a lifeline but I doubt very much it was intentional.towny44 wrote: 19 Jun 2021, 15:02I thought England managed to throw the Scots a lifeline, without making it too obvious.Onelife wrote: 19 Jun 2021, 08:54Spoken like a true EnglishmanManoverboard wrote: 19 Jun 2021, 08:36I thought Southgate played a blinder, the tactics were to finish 2nd overall to ease our passage through to the later rounds by avoiding the. big boys I predict another draw on Tuesday and for Jack to run round in circles with his leg out waiting to get tripped up.

Germany 2 v Portugal 1.
Lucky Germans. Both their goals have been own goals.

Re: Football 20/21
If we had drawn instead of winning against the Czechs then we may have played the French rather than the Germans but as we did win we will be playing at Wembley ....

Watching last night's games, a bit of channel hoping going on, I think we've got more chance of beating the Germans than we have of besting the French.

On what I have seen so far, I’m pleased we’ve got Germany, that being said I would have preferred France in preference to Portugal as I think Portugal are playing some nice footie at the moment.
