I see that Sunak was in Northern Ireland, pushing his 'Windsor Framework'.

He was extolling the wonderful, unique advantage that Northern Ireland will have - access to both the UK market and the European single market. You can't make this stuff up, the whole of the UK used to have this advantage, but lost it, because we decided to Brexit !

Apart from that, hopefully this is the start of a more adult and pragmatic relationship with the EU, rather than having to endure the bellicose blusterings of the fantasy ideologues

I welcome the fact that we are now improving on the deals and treaties which were signed when we left the EU. At last the ill feeling between ourselves and the EU is softening and deals can now be struck which will benefit both parties. I look forward to other deals being struck to harmonise our relationship with our European neighbours without being tied to them.

I see where you are coming from Ray and I wouldn’t want her standing behind me in the trenches, nevertheless, sooner or later theses things always seem to find a way to the papers and in doing so she would have been implicated for withholding what could be crucial evidence in the covid inquiry.
